Hampi World Heritage Area Management Authority Act, 2002 Section 6

Title: State Level Advisory Committee

.....The Secretary to Government in-charge of Toursim. (j) Chairperson of the Authority. (k) The Director of Town Planning, Government of Karnataka. (2) The Advisory Committee may co-opt three persons who are experts in the field of Heritage, Archaeology, Tourism or Environment as members. (3) The Advisory Committee may if it deems necessary invite any person who is an expert in the field of Heritage, archaeology, Tourism or Environment. (4) The Advisory Committee shall co-ordinate and monitor the activities of the Authority and advise the Authority on all matters concerning the conservation of the Cultural Heritage and the Natural Environs within the Heritage Area. (5) The Advisory Committee shall meet at least once in six months at such place and at such time and shall adopt such procedure as may be prescribed.

Title: State Level Single Window Clearance Committee

(1) The State Government may by notification constitute a single window clearance committee for the State called as the 'State Level Single Window Clearance Committee' consisting of such members as may be specified therein. (2) The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee shall examine and consider proposal received from the entrepreneurs relating to industrial and other projects to be set up in the State with an investment of more than three crores rupees and less than rupees fifty crores each. (3) A member of the Committee shall personally attend the meetings and in case he is unable to attend the meeting he may depute a senior level officer with a written authorisation to take appropriate decision in the meeting.

Title: Measures to Enforce Compliance

.....under any Act to provide for the appropriation of such sums, or by taking interim measures for revenue augmentation, or by taking up a combination of both. Provided that nothing in this sub-section shall apply to the expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State under clause (3) of article 202 of the Constitution. Provided further that, while adhering to the fiscal targets, the State Government will give priority to protecting certain expenditure declared in the Medium Term Fiscal Plan as high priority development expenditure (including, inter alia, elementary education, basic health and rural water supply) from curtailment or may impose a reduced or partial curtailment. (5) Whenever one or more supplementary estimates are presented to the Houses of Legislature, the State Government shall also present an accompanying statement indicating the corresponding curtailment of expenditure and/or augmentation of revenue to fully offset the fiscal impact of the supplementary estimates in relation to the budget targets of the current year and the Medium Term Fiscal Plan objectives and targets for the future year.

Title: Powers and Functions of the Authortiy

.....The Fund and all other assets vesting in the Authority shall be held and applied by it, subject to the provisions of and for the purposes of this Act. Section 18 - Budget The Authority shall prepare, every year, in such form and at such time as may be prescribed, an annual budget estimate in respect of the next financial year showing the estimated receipts and disbursements of the Authority and shall submit a copy thereof to the State Government.
