.....for the reason of a severe emergency or natural calamity. (b) If the interview is postponed, the selection committee shall forthwith communicate the fact to the District Inspector of Schools and shall obtain his approval (but not his sanction afresh) for holding the interview on any other date. (9) (a) All the candidates who turn up for the interview shall, before the interview, be required by the selection committee to record their attendance on a sheet of paper. (b) The selection committee shall sign on the call letter of every candidate who appeared at the interview and shall, along with every panel, submit to the District Inspector of Schools a certificate to that effect. Rule 9 Allotment of marks (1) (a) For selection of a Librarian in a school, (i) full marks for possessing the qualifications shall be as follows: (A) Certificate of passing Madhyamik Examination (or equivalent) 10 marks (B) Certificate of passing Higher Secondary Examination [or equivalent including old Higher Secondary Examination (class XI)] 10 marks (C) Bachelor's Degree 10 marks (D) Certificate in Library Science or 10 marks Diploma in Library Science or 15 marks Degree in Library Science 20.....

.....Amendment of section 2.- In the Kerala Payment of Pension to Members of Legislature Act, 1976 (46 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2,- (1) after sub-section (ICC), the following sub-section shall be inserted,namely:- "(ICCC) the spouses referred to in sub-sections (1A), (1B) and (1C) shall not be eligible for pension from the date on which he or she remarries."; (2) after sub-section (ID), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:- "(IE) Where the spouse referred to in sub-sections (1A), (1B) and (1C) dies, the minor son or the unmarried daughter or both, as the case may be, of the member shall be entitled to a family pension from the date of death of the spouse at the same rate as would have been payable to the spouse, if he or she had not died, subject to the following conditions namely:- (i) In the case of minor son, until he attains the age of twenty-five years; (ii) In the case of unmarried daughter, until she attains the age of twenty-five years or she gets married whichever is earlier; (iii) If there are two persons entitled to family pension, then the amount of family pension shall be paid to them equally and if there are more.....

.....purpose or (ii) Horticultural purpose or for both purposes (iii) for construction of or setting up of Hotel, (iv) Restaurant, Industry or (v) Factory or such other enterprise generating economic activity or, (vi) medical or (vii) educational institution etc. (viii) or for such purposes as may be considered by the authority: Provided that a person who is a non-agriculturist but purchases land either under clause (a) or (b) of the sub-section (2) with the permission granted under the said clauses of sub-section (2) shall irrespective of such purchase of land continue to be a non-agriculturist for the purpose of this Act: Provided further that a non-agriculturist who purchases land under the above clauses and in whose case permission to purchase land is granted under clause (a) and (b) of the sub-section (2) shall put the land to such use for which the permission has been granted within a period of two years or for further such period not exceeding one year as may be allowed by the State Government for reasons to be recorded in writing to be counted from the date on which the said deed of land is registered and if he fails to do so or diverts the use of the land or transfers.....
