Delhi Tenants (Temporary Protection) Act, 1956 Complete Act

.....commencement of the Rent Control Act, caused or permitted to be caused substantial damage to the premises; or (iii) where the decree or order relates to any vacant ground and has been passed on any ground similar to any of those referred in sub-clauses (i) and (ii). Explanation. Nothing contained in this section shall be construed as preventing the execution of any decree or order passed on any of the grounds specified in this section by reason merely of the fact that decree or order is based also on some other ground not specified in this section. Section5 Exclusion of time for limitation In computing the period of limitation prescribed for an application for the execution of any decree or order which cannot be executed by reason of the provisions contained in this Act, the time during which this Act remains in force shall be excluded. Where any decree or order for the recovery of possession of any premises to which the Delhi Tenants (Temporary Protection) Act, 1956 (97 of 1956), applies is sought to be executed on the cesser of operation of that Act in relation to those premises, the court executing the decree or order may, on the application of the person against whom the decree or order has been passed or otherwise, reopen the case and if it is satisfied that the decree or order could not have been passed if this Act had been in force on the date of the decree or order, the court may, having regard to the provisions of this Act, set aside the decree or order or pass such other order in relation thereto as it thinks fit.

.....a member of either House of Parliament. 38M. Term of office and conditions of service of members.--(1) A member nominated under clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 38L shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years: Provided that a member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Central Government, resign from his office. (2) The Central Government shall remove a member referred to in clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 3 8L, from office if he-- (a) is, or at any time has been, adjudicated as insolvent; (b) has been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of the Central Government, involves moral turpitude; (c) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; (d) refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting; (e) is, without obtaining leave of absence from the Tiger Conservation Authority, absent from three consecutive meetings of the said Authority; or (f) has, in the opinion of the Central Government, so abused his position as to render his continuation in office detrimental to the public interest: Provided that no member shall be removed under this sub-section unless he has been given a reasonable.....
