.....APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 THE COMMERCIAL COURTS, COMMERCIAL DIVISION & COMMERCIAL APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 NO. 4 OF 2016 An Act to provide for the constitution of Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division in the High Courts for adjudicating commercial disputes of specified value and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of October, 2015. Definitions. 2. (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Commercial Appellate Division means the Commercial Appellate Division in a High Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 5; (b) Commercial Court means the Commercial Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 3; (c) commercial dispute .....

Title: Establishment and Incorporation of Authority

(1) With effect from such date as the Central Government may, by notification, appoint, there shall be established, for the purposes of this Act, an Authority to be called the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. (2) The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to contract and shall, by the said name, sue or be sued. (3) The head office of the Authority shall be in the National Capital Region referred to in clause (f) of section 2 of the National Capital Region Planning Board Act, 1985(2 of 1985). (4) The Authority may establish offices at other places in India.

(1) There shall be established a University by the name of "Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University". (2) The headquarters of the University shall be at Fursatganj in the District of Raebareli in the State of Uttar Pradesh; (3) The University may establish or maintain campuses and centres at such other places within its jurisdiction as it may deem fit. (4) The first Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor, the first members of the Court, the Executive Council, the Academic Council, and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, shall constitute the University. Title: Effect of Registration

From the date of incorporation mentioned in the certificate of incorporation, such subscribers to the memorandum and all other persons, as may, from time to time, become members of the company, shall be a body corporate by the name contained in the memorandum, capable of exercising all the functions of an incorporated company under this Act and having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, tangible and intangible, to contract and to sue and be sued, by the said name.
