Any State civil servant who commences, continues or otherwise acts in furtherance of a strike shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.

(2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, Sections 2 to 77 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2000. .....24 - Illegal strikes and lock-outs (1) A strike or a lock-out shall be illegal if-- (i) it is commenced or declared in contravention of section 22 or section 23; or (ii) it is continued in contravention of an order made under sub-section (3) of section 101[or sub-section (4A) of section 10A]. THE KOODALMANICKAM DEVASWAM ACT, 2005[1] THE KOODALMANICKAM DEVASWAM ACT, 2005[1] ACT 2 OF 2007 An Act to provide for the proper administration of the Koodalmanickam Devaswom at Irrinjalakuda Preamble ."WHEREAS, the Koodalmanickam Temple at Irrinjalakuda is an ancient temple of unique importance having extensive properties and endowments; AND WHEREAS, under the Proclamation issued by the Maharaja of Cochin on the 30 th day of November, 1917 and the Scheme of Administration issued under that Proclamation, the administration, control and management of the Devaswom had been vested in the Thachudaya Kaimal; AND WHEREAS, the administration and management by the Thachudaya Kaimal had deteriorated the Devaswom and a situation had arisen rendering it expedient to reorganize, the Scheme of Administration of the affairs of the Devaswom on the public interest; AND WHEREAS, the Koodalmanickam Devaswom Act, 1971, was enacted to provide better management of the Devaswom in supersession of all previous laws and arrangements applicable thereto; AND WHEREAS, Original Petition No. 2182 of 1986 was filed before the High Court of Kerala praying to declare the Koodalmanickam.....
