.....1908, `India', means the territory of India excluding the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Under s. 2(e) of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969, `India' means for the purposes of this Act the territories to which this Act extends (i.e., whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir). According to s. 2(27) of Customs Act, 1962, `India' includes the territorial waters of India. Any member of a corporation who shall steal, purloin or embezzle any money or other property, or wilfully and maliciously destroy or injure any property of such corporation, or shall forge any deed, bond, security for money, receipt, or other instrument, whereby the funds of the corporation may be exposed to loss, shall be subject to the like prosecution, and, if convicted, shall be liable to be punished in like manner as any person not a member would be subject and liable to in respect of the like offence.
