.....this Act that corresponding law shall stand repealed: Provided that such repeal shall not affect the previous operation of that corresponding law, and subject thereto, anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any power conferred by or under the corresponding law shall be deemed to have been done or taken in the exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act was in force on the day on which such things were done or action was taken. Section 113 - Power to remove difficulties (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, remove the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of the period of two years from the commencement of this Act. (2) However, order made under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament.

.....to the exclusion of the other apartments ; (r) "local authority" means a corporation constituted under section 4 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 (Punjab Act No. 42 of 1976), a committee constituted under section 12 of the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911 (Punjab Act No. 3 of 1911) or any other authority notified by the State Government for the purposes of this Act ; (s) "majority" or "majority of apartment owners" means the apartment owners with fifty one per cent or more the votes in accordance with the percentage assigned in the conveyance deeds of apartments for voting purposes ; (t) "person", includes company, firm, co-operative society, joint family and an incorporated body of persons ; (u) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act ; (v) "promoter" means the person who constructs or causes to be constructed a building consisting of apartments or who converts an existing building or a part thereof into apartments for the purpose of selling all or some of the apartments to other persons and includes his assigns and where the person who constructs or converts a building and the person who sells are different persons, the term includes both of them ; .....

Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 1995 Complete Act

SECTION 07: ACT TO OVERRIDE OTHER LAWS The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force. SECTION 08: REMOVAL OF DIFFICULTIES If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, as occasion requires, by order, do anything not inconsistent with the objects and purposes of this Act, which appears to it to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act. SECTION 09: REPEAL OF MAH. I OF 1995 AND SAVING (1) The Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Ordinance, 1995 (Mah. Ord I of 1995) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken, as the case may be, under the corresponding provisions of this Act. CABLE TELEVISION NETWORKS (REGULATION) ACT, 1995 CABLE TELEVISION NETWORKS (REGULATION) ACT, 1995 [Act No. 7 of Year 1995, dated 25-3-1995] Promulgated by the President in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India. An Act to regulate the operation of cable television networks in the country and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Forty-sixth year of the Republic of India as follows: - CHAPTER 1: PRELIMINARY SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act,1995. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 29th day of September, 1994. Title: Special Provision as to Evacuee Wakf Properties

.....and whether generally or for specified purpose) of any such property to a Board made before the commencement of this Act in pursuance of the instructions of the Custodian under the Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1950 shall have, and shall be deemed always to have had, notwithstanding anything contained in any other provision of this Act, effect as if such entrustment had operated to (a) vest such property in such Board in the same manner and with the same effect as in a trustee of such property for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1950 (31 of 1950) with effect from the date of such entrustment, and (b) authorise such Board to assume direct management of the wakf concerned for so long as it might deem necessary.

.....for confiscation under Chapter ill of the said Act shall abate but in respect of money and other properties involved in such proceedings, the attachment proceedings may be taken under the Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance, 38 of 1994 and notwithstanding the fact that such proceedings are to taken or not, it shall be lawful for the respective Special Judges so pass orders of confiscation at the conclusion of the trial. (3) Save as provided in Sub-section (2), where orders of confiscation have been made under the said Act, such orders shall be deemed to be orders of attachment made under the provisions of the Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance, 38 of 1944 and shall be carried into effect accordingly. Explanation - The expression 'respective Special Judges' shall mean the Special Judges, appointed under Section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 49 of 1988 for the area within which the offence was committed or, appointed to try the offence referred to in Clause (c) of Sub-section (1) of Section 13 of that Act, as the case may be.
