Insecticides Act, 1968 Section 23

Title: Persons Bound to Disclose Place Where Insecticides Are Manufactured or Kept

Every person for the time being in charge of any premises where any insecticide is being manufactured or is kept for sale or distribution shall, on being required by an Insecticide Inspector so to do, be legally bound to disclose to the Insecticide Inspector the place where the insecticide is being manufactured or is kept, as the case may be.

THE MAHE LAND REFORMS ACT, 1968 (Act No.1 of 1968) 22nd March, 1968 AN ACT To enact a comprehensive legislation relating to land reforms in Mahe region of the Union Territory of Pondicherry. WHEREAS it is expedient to enact a comprehensive legislation relating to land reforms in the Mahe region of the Union territory of Pondicherry; BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Pondicherry in the Nineteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Mahe Land Reforms Act, 1968. (2) It extends to the whole of Mahe region of the Union territory of Pondicherry. The Act came into force from 22nd March, 1968 vide Extraordinary Gazette No.23, dated 22nd March, 1968. (3) The provisions of this Act, except this section which shall come into force at once, shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; Provided that different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act, and any reference to the commencement of this Act in.....

Border Security Force Act, 1968 Chapter III

.....to this Act who deserts or attemps to desert the service shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court,-- (a) if he commits the offence when on active duty or when under order for active duty, be liable to suffer death or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned; and (b) if he commits the offence under any other circumstances, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned. (2) Any person subject to this Act who knowingly harbours any such deserter shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned. (3) Any person subject to this Act who, being cognizant of any desertion or attempt at desertion of a person subject to this Act, does not forthwith give notice to his own or some other superior officer, or take any steps in his power to cause such person to be apprehended, shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned. Border Security Force Act, 1968 Section 37

Title: Offences Relating to Security Force Court

Any person subject to this Act who commits any of the following offences, that is to say,-- (a) being duly summoned or ordered to attend as a witness before a Security Force Court, wilfully or without reasonable excuse, makes default in attending; or (b) refuses to take an oath or make an affirmation legally required by a Security Force Court to be taken or made; or (c) refuses to produce or deliver any document in his power or control legally required by a Security Force Court to be produced or delivered by him; or (d) refuses, when a witness, to answer any question which he is by law bound to answer; or (e) is guilty of contempt of the Security Force Court by using insulting or threatening language, or by causing any interruption or disturbance in the proceedings of such court, shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.
