SECTION 09: VACANCIES IN THE COUNCIL NOT TO INVALIDATE ACTS, ETC - No act or proceeding of the Council or any committee thereof shall be culled in question on the ground merely of the existence of any vacancy in, or any defect in the constitution of the Council or a committee thereof, as the case maybe. SECTION 10: DISSOLUTION OF REHABILITATION COUNCIL AND TRANSFER OF RIGHTS, LIABILITIES AND EMPLOYEES OF REHABILITATION COUNCIL TO COUNCIL (1) On and from the date of the constitution of the Council, the Rehabilitation Council shall stand dissolved and on such dissolution.- (a) all properties and assets, movable and immovable, of, or belonging to, the Rehabilitation Council shall vest in the Council; (b) all the rights and liabilities of the Rehabilitation Council shall be transferred to, and be the rights and liabilities of, the Council: (c) without prejudice to the provisions of clause (b), all liabilities incurred, all contracts entered into and all matters and things engaged to be done by, with or for the Rehabilitation Council immediately before that date, for or in connection.....

Amendment of section 16A In the Supreme Court Judges Act, in section 16A, in sub-section (1),-- (i) in clause (a),-- (A) after the words "family pension calculated at the rate of fifty per cent of his salary", the words "plus fifty per cent of his dearness pay" shall be inserted; (B) after the words "and thereafter at the rate of thirty per cent of his salary", the words "plus thirty per cent of his dearness pay" shall be inserted; (ii) in clause (b), after the words "family pension shall be thirty per cent of his salary", the words "plus thirty per cent of his dearness pay" shall be inserted. 9. Amendment of section 23 In section 23 of the Supreme Court Judges Act, in sub-section (1A), for the words "of ten thousand rupees", the words "equivalent to an amount of thirty per cent. of the salary plus thirty per cent of the dearness pay" shall be substituted. 10. Amendment of section 23B In section 23B of the Supreme Court Judges Act, for the words "four thousand" and "three thousand", the words "ten thousand" and "seven thousand five hundred" shall respectively be.....

Title: Conditions of Service of I.c.s.members of the Indian Administrative Service

Subject to the other provisions of this Act, on and from the appointed day,- (a) the conditions of service as respect,- (i) remuneration, (ii) leave, and (iii) pension; (b) the rights as respects disciplinary matters; and (c) the conditions of service and the rights as respects all other matters, of the I.C.S., members of the Indian Administrative Service shall be the same as those of the other members of that Service and accordingly and subject as aforesaid, the provisions of the All-India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) and the rules and regulations made or deemed to have been made thereunder, as in force from time to time, shall apply to and in relation to the I.C.S., members of the Indian Administrative Service as they apply to and in relation to the other members of that Service.
