THE KERALA BEEDI AND CIGAR WORKERS' WELFARE FUND ACT, 1995 [1] THE KERALA BEEDI AND CIGAR WORKERS' WELFARE FUND ACT, 1995 [1] (ACT 18 OF 1995) An Act to provide for the constitution of a fund to grant relief to, promote the welfare of, and to pay pension to beedi and cigar workers and self-employed persons in beedi and cigar industries in the State of Kerala. Preamble. "WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the constitution of a fund to grant relief to, to promote the welfare of and to pay pension to beedi and cigar workers and self-employed persons in beedi and cigar industries in the State of Kerala and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; BE it enacted in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: " 1.
