Title : Power of Chief Justice to Transfer Pending Suits and Proceedings to Subordinate Courts

The Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi may transfer any suit or other proceedings which is or are pending in the High Court immediately before the commencement of this Act to such subordinate court in the National Capital Territory of Delhi as would have jurisdiction to entertain such suit or proceedings had such suit or proceedings been instituted or filed for the first time after such commencement.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997) Section 14N

(1) All appeals pending before the High Court immediately before the commencement of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Act, 2000, shall stand transferred to the Appellate Tribunal on its establishment under section 14. (2) Where any appeal stands transferred from the High Court to the Appellate Tribunal under sub-section (1), (a) the High Court shall, as soon as may be after such transfer, forward the records of such appeal to the Appellate Tribunal; and (b) the Appellate Tribunal may, on receipt of such records, proceed to deal with such appeal, so far as may be from the stage which was reached before such transfer or from any earlier stage or de novo as the Appellate Tribunal may deem fit.

THE MULKI RULES (REPEAL) ACT, 1973 [Act, No. 68 of 1973] [28th December, 1973] PREAMBLE An Act to provide for the repeal of Mulki Rules. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- 1. Short title and commencement.-- (1) This Act may be called the Mulki Rules (Repeal) Act, 1973. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2. Definition.-- In this Act, "Mulki Rules" shall have the same meaning as in the Mulki Rules Act, 1972 (79 of 1972). 3. Repeal of Mulki Rules.-- Upon the commencement of this Act, the Mulki Rules as in force immediately before such commencement shall, notwithstanding anything contained in the Mulki Rules Act, 1972, (79 of 1972) cease to have effect and are hereby repealed: Provided that such repeal shall not affect the validity of any appointment previously made in accordance with those rules.

In section 158A of the Income-tax Act, with effect from the 1st day of June, 2002,-- (a) in sub-section (1),-- (i) for the words and figures "before the Supreme Court on a reference under section 257 or in appeal under section 261", the words, figures and letter "before the Supreme Court on a reference under section 257 or in appeal under section 260A before the High Court or in appeal under section 261 before the Supreme Court" shall be substituted; (ii) for the words and figures "for a reference before the High Court under section 256 or the Supreme Court under section 257 or in appeal before the Supreme Court under section 261", the words, figures and letter "in appeal before the High Court under section 260A or in appeal before the Supreme Court under section 261" shall be substituted; (b) in sub-section (4), in clause (b), for the words and figures "for a reference before the High Court under section 256 or the Supreme Court under section 257 or in appeal before the Supreme Court under section 261", the words, figures and letter "in appeal before the High Court under section 260A or the Supreme Court under section 261" shall be substituted.

(2) Every suit, claim or other legal proceeding (other than an appeal) pending before any Court immediately before the commencement of the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transactions in Securities) Amendment Act, 1994, being a suit, claim or proceeding, the cause of action whereon it is based is such that it would have been, if it had arisen after such commencement, within the jurisdiction of the Special Court under sub-section (1), shall stand transferred on such commencement to the Special Court and the Special Court may, on receipt of the records of such suit, claim or other legal proceeding, proceed to deal with it, so far as may be, in the same manner as a suit, claim or legal proceeding from the stage which was reached.....

(1) After the commencement of this Act, no court shall entertain any suit, application or other proceedings in respect of any order or notice unless an appeal under section 340 is preferred and the same is disposed of by the appellate authority under subsection (3) of section 343 of this Act. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), every suit, application or other proceedings pending in any court immediately before the commencement of this Act shall continue to be dealt with and disposed of by that court as if the said section has not been brought into force.
