When two or more persons agree-- (a) to commit or cause to be committed any offence under this Act, or (b)1[***] to commit a breach of a condition of a licence, permit, pass or authorisation, each of such persons shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a period which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both. _____________________ 1. Title: Protection of Action Taken Under Act

Title: Application of Certain Provisions to the State Bank of India and Other Notified Banks

Title: Change of Name by a Banking Company

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 21 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government shall not signify its approval to the change of name of any banking company unless the Reserve Bank certifies in writing that it has no objection to such change.
