THE UTTARAKHAND ANNUAL TRANSFER FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS (REPEAL) ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND ANNUAL TRANSFER FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS (REPEAL) ACT, 2012 [Act No. 6 of 2012] [08th June, 2012] PREAMBLE An Act to repeal the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2011 (Uttarakhand Act No, 21 of 2011) Be it enacted by the Legislature of State of Uttarakhand in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants (Repeal) Act, 2012. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on May 16, 2012. Section 2 - Repeal of Uttarakhand Act No. 21 of 2011 The Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2011 is hereby repealed. THE UTTARAKHAND FOREST DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (FIRST AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND FOREST DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (FIRST AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 [Act No. 5 of 2012] [08th June, 2012] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation Act, 1974, to the context of the State of Uttarakhand Be it enacted by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in the Sixty-three Year of the Republic of India as follows-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation (First Amendment) Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 23 In Section 23 of the Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation Act, 1974 (as enforced in the State of Uttarakhand) for sub-sections (2), (3) and (4), the following sub-sections shall be substituted, namely-- "(2) The accounts of the Corporation shall be subject to audit annually by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India or any person authorised by him, and any expenditure incurred by him in connection with such audit shall be payable by the Corporation to the Comptroller and Auditor General of India or any person.....

To levy water tax on electricity generation in the State of Uttarakhand An Act Be it enacted in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly as follows:- Section 1 - Short Title, Extent and Commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Water Tax on Electricity Generation Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole State of Uttarakhand. (3) It shall come into force from such date as the State Government may by notification in the Gazette appoint. THE UTTARAKHAND EXCISE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND EXCISE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 [Act No. 3 of 2012] [08th June, 2012] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910 (Act No. 4 of 1910) (as applicable to the State of Uttarakhand) Enacted by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly in the Sixty-third year of the Republic of India, as follows-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Excise (Amendment) Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 40 After sub-section (1) of Section 40 of the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910 (Act No. 4 of 1910) (as applicable to the State of Uttarakhand), a proviso shall be inserted as follows-- "Provided further that the rule tenure Uttar Pradesh Excise Export, Import and kept in possession of Rectified Spirit (23rd Amendment) Rules, 1999 published with Notification No. 129/13-2004, dated 13 March, 1931 be deemed to and always to have been in force from 1 April, 2007 to the context of the State of Uttarakhand.". THE UTTARAKHAND CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2012 [Act No. 4 of 2012] [08th June, 2012] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Uttarakhand Co-operative Societies Act, 2003 (Uttarakhand Act No. 5 of 2003) Be it enacted by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India, as follows-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 29 In sub-section (7) of Section 29 of the Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 with proviso for the words "one year", the words "one year and six months" shall be substituted; Section 3 - Repeal and savings (1) The Uttarakhand Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2012 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act. THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 [Act No. 02 of 2012] PREAMBLE An Act to make provision for, and to regulate audit of all Government machineries, Public Corporation, Governmental Companies, Institutions, Statutory Authorities, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Municipalities, Urban Local Bodies, Governmental Committees in the State of Uttarakhand. Be it enacted by the Legislature of State of Uttarakhand in the Sixty-Third Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Audit Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttarakhand. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
