Navy Act, 1957 Section 69

Title: Offences in Relation to Court-martial

Every person subject to naval law, who,-- (a) being duly summoned or ordered to attend as a witness before a court-martial wilfully or without reasonable excuse fails to attend; or (b) refuses to take an oath or make an affirmation legally required by a court-martial to be taken or made; or (c) being sworn, refuses to answer any questions which he is in law bound to answer; or (d) refuses to produce or deliver up a document in his power which the court may legally demand; or (e) is guilty of contempt of court-martial; shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or such other punishment as is hereinafter mentioned.

Government of India Act, 1915-19 [Repealed] Section 69

Title: Power of Crown to Disallow Acts

(1) When an Act of the1[Indian legislature] has been assented to by the Governor-General, he shall send to the Secretary of State an authentic copy thereof, and it shall be lawful for His Majesty2[in Council] to signify2[* * *] his disallowance of any such Act. (2) Where the disallowance of any such Act has been so signified, the Governor-General shall forthwith notify the disallowance, and thereupon the Act, as from the date of the notification, shall become void accordingly. ________________________ 1. These words were substituted for the words "Governor-General in Legislative Council" by Part II of Sch. II of the Government of India Act, 1919 (9 & 10 Geo. 5,. Ch. 101). 2. The words "through the Secretary of State in Council" were omitted by Part II of Sch. II of the Government of India Act, 1919 (9 & 10 Geo. 5,. Ch. 101).

Manipur Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 Section 69

Title: Zilla Parishad Fund

.....under the control and management of the Zilla Parishad; (g) all sums received as gift or contribution and all income from any trust or endowment made in favour of Zilla Parishad; (h) such fines or penalties imposed and realised under the provisions of this Act or of the bye-laws made thereunder, as may be prescribed; and (i) all other sums received by or on behalf of the Zilla Parishad. (2) Every Zilla Parishad shall set apart and apply annually such sum as may be required to meet the cost of its own administration including the payment of salary, allowances, provident fund and gratuity to the officers and employees. The overall expenditure on establishment shall not exceed one-third of the total expenditure. (3) Every Zilla Parishad shall have the power to spend such sums as it thinks fit for carrying out the purpose of this Act. (4) The Zilla Parishad Fund shall be vested in the Zilla Parishad and the amount standing to the credit of the fund shall be kept in such custody or invested in such manner as the Government may, from time to time, direct.

Marine Insurance Act, 1963 Section 69

Title: Partial Loss of Ship

Where a ship is damaged, but is not totally lost, the measure of indemnity subject to any express provision in the policy, is as follows-- (1) where the ship has been repaired, the assured is entitled to the reasonable cost of the repairs, less the customary deductions, but not exceeding the sum insured in respect of any one casualty. (2) where the ship has been only partially repaired, the assured is entitled to the reasonable cost of such repairs, computed as above, and also to be indemnified for the reasonable depreciation, if any, arising from the unrepaired damage, provided that the aggregate amount shall not exceed the cost of repairing the whole damage, computed as above; (3) where the ship has not been repaired, and has not been sold in her damaged state during the risk, the assured is entitled to be indemnified for the reasonable depreciation arising from the unrepaired damage, but not exceeding the reasonable cost of repairing such damage, computed as above; (4) where the ship has not been repaired, and has been sold in her damaged state during the risk, the assured is entitled to be indemnified for the reasonable cost of repairing the damage, computed as above,
