1 65.Power to remove difficulties.- (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to theprovisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, removethe difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from thecommencement of this Act. Representation of the People Act, 1951 Section 65

Title: Equality of Votes

If, after the counting of the votes is completed, an equality of votes is found to exist between any candidates, and the addition of one vote will entitle any of those candidates to be declared elected, the returning officer shall forthwith decide between those candidates by lot, and proceed as if the candidate on whom the lot falls had received an additional vote.

Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 Section 65

Title: Compensation in Case of Injury or Death of Consumer

State: Central

(1) Without prejudice to the other provisions of this Chapter, if any person whether by himself or by any other person on his behalf, manufactures or distributes or sells or imports any article of food causing injury to the consumer or his death, it shall be lawful for the Adjudicating Officer or as the case may be, the court to direct him to pay compensation to the victim or the legal representative of the victim, a sum-- (a) not less than five lakh rupees in case of death; (b) not exceeding three lakh rupees in case of grievous injury; and (c) not exceeding one lakh rupees, in all other cases of injury: Provided that the compensation shall be paid at the earliest and in no case later than six months from the date of occurrence of the incident: Provided further that in case of death, an interim relief shall be paid to the next of the kin within thirty days of the incident. (2) Where any person is held guilty of an offence leading to grievous injury or death, the Adjudicating Officer or the court may cause the name and place of residence of the person held guilty, the offence and the penalty imposed to be published at the offender's expense in such newspapers or in.....

The Secretary of State in Council shall and may sue and be sued as well in India as in England by the Name of the Secretary of State in Council as a Body corporate; and all Persons and Bodies Politic shall and may have and take the same suits, Remedies, and Proceedings, legal and equitable, against the Secretary of State in Council of India as they could have clone against the said Company; and the Property and effects hereby vested in Her Majesty for the purposes, of the Government of India acquired for the said purposes shall be subject and liable to the same judgments and Executions as they would while vested in the said Company have been liable to in respect of Debts and inabilities lawfully contracted and incurred by the said Company.

Title: Annual Reports to Be Prepared by Thecommissioners

(1) The Commissioner shall prepare in such form and at such time for each financial year as may be prescribed by the State Government an annual report giving a full account of his activities during the previous financial year and forward a copy thereof to the State Government. (2) The State Government shall cause the annual report to be laid before each State Legislature along with the recommendations explaining the action taken or proposed to be taken on the recommendations made therein insofar as they relate to the State Government and the reasons for non-acceptance, if any, of any such recommendation or part.

Railways Act, 1989 Section 65

Title: Railway Receipt

State: Central

Year: 1989

(1) A railway administration shall,-- (a) in a case where the goods are to be loaded by a person entrusting such goods, on the completion of such loading; or (b) in any other case, on the acceptance of the goods by it, issue a railway receipt in such form as may be specified by the Central Government. (2) A railway receipt shall be prima facie evidence of the weight and the number of packages stated therein: Provided that in the case of a consignment in wagon-load or train-load and the weight or the number of packages is not checked by a railway servant authoried in this behalf, and a statement to that effect is recorded in such railway receipt by him, the burden of proving the weight or, as the case may be, the number of packages stated therein, shall lie on the consignor, the consignee or the endorsee.
