Title: Compensation when the Final Scheme is Varied or Revoked and Apportionment of Costs

(1) If at any time after the day on which the final scheme has come into force, such scheme is varied or revoked, any person who has incurred expenditure for the purpose of complying with such scheme shall be entitled to receive compensation from the Planning Authority, in so far as any such expenditure is rendered abortive by reason of the variation or revocation of such scheme. (2) In the event of sanction to final scheme being refused by the State Government or a final scheme being revoked, the State Government may direct that the costs of the scheme shall be borne by the Planning Authority or be paid to the Planning Authority by the owners concerned, in such proportion as the State Government may in each case determine.

If less than one-third of the total number of councillors be present at a meeting at any time from the beginning to the end thereof, the presiding authority shall, after waiting for thirty minutes, adjourn the meeting to such hour on the following or some other future day as he may reasonably fix, and a notice of such adjournment shall be fixed up in the municipal office, and the business which should have been brought before the original meeting had there been a quorum thereat, shall be brought before the adjourned meeting and may be disposed of at such meeting, provided that not less than one-fourth of the total number of councillors be present.

Title: Highway Authority to Regulate Traffic when Highway Declared Unsafe

If at any time it appears to the Highway Authority that any highway in its charge or any portion thereof is or has been rendered unsafe for vehicular or pedestrian traffic by reason of damage or otherwise, it may, subject to such rules as may be prescribed in this behalf, either close the highway or the portion of it to all traffic or to any class of traffic, or regulate the number and speed or weight of vehicles using the highway.

(b) defend or take part in any civil, criminal or administrative action or proceeding in the name and on behalf of the Co-operative; (c) carry on the business of the Co-operative as required for an orderly liquidation; (d) sell by public auction any property of the Co-operative; (e) do all acts and execute any documents in the name and on behalf of the Co-operative; (f) borrow money on the security of the property of the Co-operative; (g) settle or compromise any claims by or against the Co-operative; and (h) take all such steps that are necessary for the liquidation of the Co-operative. (2) Where a liquidator has reason to believe that any person has in his possession or under his control or has concealed, withheld or misappropriated any property of the Co-operative, he shall inform1[the Registrar] Co-operative to take further action against such person. (3) No liquidator or his relatives shall purchase directly or indirectly any part of the stock-in-trade, debts or assets of the Co-operative under liquidation. ______________________________________ 1. Title: Power to Make Rules to Regulate Transit of Forest Produce

.....marks for timber or other forest produce, and the registration of such marks; prescribe the time for which such registration shall hold good; limit the number of such marks that may be registered by any one person and provide for the levy of fees for such registration. (3) In making a rule under this section, the State Government may provide that person guilty of contravention thereof shall, on conviction, be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both; and where the contravention is committed after sunset or before sunrise, or after preparation for resistance to lawful authority, or where the offender has been previously convicted for a like offence with imprisonment which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both. ______________________ 1.
