Immovable property in respect of which proceedings for acquisition may be taken.--(1) Where the State Government, on receipt of any report from the registering officer or otherwise, has reason to believe that any immovable property has been transferred by a person to another person for an apparent consideration which is less than the fair market value of the property and that the consideration for such as agreed to between the parties has been truly stated in the instrument of transfer, the State Government may acquire the property after initiating proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the land Acquisition Act, 1894 (1 of 1894). (2) Every registering officer shall report to the State government in the Judicial Department any case of transfer as aforesaid as soon as it comes to his notice. .....

Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 Section 4A

Title: Powers of the Commission

.....to be a Civil Court and when any offence described in section 175, section 178, section 179, section 180 or section 228 of the Indian Penal Code is committed in the view or presence of the Commission, the Commission may, after recording the facts constituting the offence and the statement of the accused as provided for in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, forward the case to a Magistrate having jurisdiction to try the same and the Magistrate to whom any such case is forwarded shall proceed to hear the complaint against the accused as if the case has been forwarded to him under section 482 of the said Code. (4) Any proceeding before the Commission shall be deemed to be a judicial proceeding within the meaning of sections 193 and 228 of the Indian Penal Code. Explanation.-- For the purposes of enforcing attendance of witnesses, the local limits of the Commission's jurisdiction shall be the limits of the territory of India.] _______________________________ 1. Title: Punishment for Using a False Property Mark

Title: Summons or Warrant in Case of Person Not So Present

If such person is not present in Court, the Magistrate shall issue a summons requiring him to appear, or, when such person is in custody, a warrant directing the officer in whose custody he is to bring him before the Court: Provided that whenever it appears to such Magistrate, upon the report of a police officer or upon other information (the substance of which report or information shall be recorded by the Magistrate), that there is reason to fear the Commission of a breach of the peace, and that such breach of the peace cannot be prevented otherwise than by the immediate arrest of such person, the Magistrate may at any time issue a warrant for his arrest.

Any Court may, at any stage of any inquiry, trial or other proceeding under this Code, summon any person as a witness, or examine any person in attendance, though not summoned as a witness, or recall and re-examine any person already examined; and the Court shall summon and examine or recall and re-examine any such person if his evidence appears to it to be essential to the just decision of the case.
