Nagaland University Act, 1989 Section 43

Title: Mode of Proof of University Record

Year: 1989

A copy of any receipt, application, notice, order, proceeding, resolution of any authority or Committee of the University, or other documents in possession of the University, or any entry in any register duly maintained by the University, if certified by the Registrar, shall be received as prima facie evidence of such receipt, application, notice, order, proceeding, resolution or documents or the existence of entry in the register and shall be admitted as evidence of the matters and transactions therein where the original thereof would, if produced, have been admissible in evidence, notwithstanding anything contained in the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 or in any other law for the time being in force.

Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 Section 43

Title: Registry of Transfer

(1) Every instrument for the transfer of an Indian ship or of a share therein when duly executed shall be produced to the registrar of her port of registry, and the registrar shall thereupon enter in the register book the name of the transferee as owner of the ship or share, as the case may be, and shall endorse on the instrument the fact of that entry having been made with the day and hour thereof. (2) Every such instrument shall be entered in the register book in the order of its production to the registrar.

Indian Partnership Act, 1932 Section 43

Title: Dissolution by Notice of Partnership at Will

(1) Where the partnership is at will, the firm may be dissolved by any partner giving notice in writing to all the other partners of his intention to dissolve the firm. (2) The firm is dissolved as from the date mentioned in the notice as the date of dissolution or, if no date is so mentioned, as from the date of the communication of the notice.

Title: Effect of Introduction of Canal Irrigation of Landlords Right to Enhance

If a revision of settlement is a ground for entertaining a suit for the enhancement of rent, the introduction of canal-irrigation into any land shall have the same effect on the landlord's right to re-enhance the rent of a tenant with a right of occupancy of such land as if a revision of settlement had taken place, under which the revenue payable in respect of such land had been increased.

Title: Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations to Be Published in the Official Gazette and to Be Laid Before Parliament

.....Ordinance or Regulation made under this Act shall be published in the Official Gazette. (2) Every Statute, Ordinance or Regulation made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before, each House of Parliament, while it is in session, for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, both Houses agree in making any modification in the Statute, Ordinance or Regulation or both Houses agree that the Statute, Ordinance or Regulation should not be made, the Statute, Ordinance or Regulation shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that Statute, Ordinance or Regulation. (3) The power to make Statutes, Ordinances or Regulations shall include the power to give retrospective effect from a date not earlier than the date of commencement of this Act, to the Statutes, Ordinances or Regulations or any of them but.....

Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966 Section 43

Title: Appropriation of Moneys for Expenditure in Transferred Territory

Year: 1966

(1) On and from the appointed day, any Act passed by the Legislative Assembly of the Union territory of Himachal Pradesh before that day for the appropriation of any money out of the Consolidated Fund of that Union territory to meet any expenditure in respect of any part of the financial year 1966-67 shall have effect also in relation, to the transferred territory and it shall be lawful for the Government of Himachal Pradesh to spend any amount in the transferred territory out of the amount authorised by such Act to be expended for any service in that Union territory. (2) The Administrator of Himachal Pradesh may, after the appointed day, authorise such expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory as he deems necessary for any purpose or service in the transferred territory for any period not extending beyond the 31st day of March, 1967, pending the sanction of such expenditure by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh.
