Title: Power Oftribunal to Enforce Compromise and Arrangement

.....such order or at any time thereafter, give such directions in regard to any matter or make such modifications in the compromise or arrangement as it may consider necessary for the proper working of the compromise or arrangement. (2) If the Tribunal aforesaid is satisfied that a compromise or an arrangement sanctioned under section 391 cannot be worked satisfactorily with or without modifications, it may, either on its own motion or on the application of any person interested in the affairs of the company, make an order winding up the company, and such an order shall be deemed to be an order made under section 433 of this Act. (3) The provisions of this section shall, so far as may be, also apply to a company in respect of which an order has been made before the commencement of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2001 sanctioning a compromise or an arrangement.] _______________________ 1. Title: Duty of Receiver Where Vessel is in Distress

Where any vessel is wrecked, stranded or in distress at any place on or near the coasts of India, the receiver of wreck, within the limits of whose jurisdiction the place is situate, shall, upon being made acquainted with the circumstances, forthwith proceed there, and upon his arrival shall take command of all persons present and shall assign such duties and give such directions to each person as he thinks fit for . the preservation of the vessel and of the lives of the person's belonging to the vessel and of its cargo and equipment: Provided that the receiver shall not interfere between the master and the crew of the vessel, in reference to the management thereof unless he is requested to do so by the master.

Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860) Section 392

Title: Punishment for Robbery

Whoever commits robbery shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine; and, if the robbery be committed on the highway between sunset and sunrise, the imprisonment may be extended to fourteen years.

Title: Licensing of Places for Disposal of Dead

(1) No new place for the disposal of the dead whether public or private shall be opened, formed, constructed or used unless a licence has been obtained form the Commissioner on application. (2) Such application for a licence shall be accompanied by a plan of the place to be registered showing the locality, boundaries and extent thereof, the name of the owner or person or community interested therein, the system of management and such further particulars as the Commissioner may require. (3) The Commissioner may, with the sanction of the corporation,- (a) grant or refuse a licence; or (b) postpone the grant of a licence until his objections to the site have been removed or the particulars called for by him have been furnished.

Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 Section 392

Title: Procedure Where Judges of Court of Appeal Are Equally Divided

When an appeal under this Chapter is heard by a High Court before a Bench of Judges and they are divided in opinion, the appeal, with their opinions, shall be laid before another Judge of that Court, and that Judge, after such hearing as he thinks fit, shall deliver his opinion, and the judgment or order shall follow that opinion: Provided that if one of the Judges constituting the Bench, or, where the appeal is laid before another Judge under this section, that Judge, so requires, the appeal shall be re-­heard and decided by a larger Bench of Judges.

Companies Act, 2013, Section 392

Title: Punishment for Contravention

Without prejudice to the provisions of section 391, if a foreign company contravenes the provisions of this Chapter, the foreign company shall be punishable with fine which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to three lakh rupees and in the case of a continuing offence, with an additional fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees for every day after the first during which the contravention continues and every officer of the foreign company who is in default shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which shall not be less than twenty-five thousand rupees but which may extend to five lakh rupees, or with both.

Constitution of India Article 392

Title: Power of the President to Remove Difficulties

(1) The President may, for the purpose of removing any difficulties, particularly in relation to the transition from the provisions of the Government of India Act, 1935, to the provisions of this Constitution, by order direct that this Constitution shall, during such period as may be specified in the order, have effect subject to such adaptations, whether by any of modification, addition or omission, as he may deem to be necessary or expedient: Provided that no such order shall be made after the first meeting of Parliament duly constituted under Chapter II of Part V. (2) Every order made under clause (1) shall be laid before Parliament. (3) The powers conferred on the President by this article, by article 324, by clause (3) of article 367 and by article 391 shall, before the commencement of the Constitution, be exercisable by the Governor-General of the Dominion of India.
