(1) The Governor-General and every Governor shall have his own secretarial staff to be appointed by him in his discretion. (2) The salaries and allowances of persons so appointed and the office accommodation and other facilities to be provided for them shall he such as the Governor-General or, as the case may be the Governor may in has discretion determine, and the said salaries and allowances and the expenses incurred in providing the said accommodation and facilities shall be charged in the revenues of the Federation or, as the ease may be, the Province.

New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Section 305

Title: Appointment of Chief Registrar, Etc.

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 (18 of 1969) but subject to the provisions to this Act and to any directions that the Central Government may give in this behalf, the officer specified in the Official Gazette by the Chairperson, shall be the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths for New Delhi and shall keep in such form as may be prescribed by bye-laws a register of all births and deaths occurring in New Delhi. (2) The Chairperson shall for the purposes of this Chapter appoint an additional chief registrar and such number of persons to be registrars of births and deaths for New Delhi as he deems necessary and define the respective areas which shall be under the charge of such registrars.

Title: Recognition of Certificates Issued Outside India

Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 Section 305

Title: Special Powers for Suspending Permission to Construct Buildings

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 303, if any street shown in the site plan is an intended private street, the Commissioner may at his discretion refuse to grant permission to construct a building, until the street is commenced or completed. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 301 and 303, the Commissioner may refuse approval of site for the construction or reconstruction of a building on the ground that the site or the site on which the building is situated is proposed to be acquired for a public purpose, provided that such refusal shall cease to operate after a period of six months from the date of communication of the refusal to the applicant.

Title: Declaration of Solvency in Case of Proposal to Wind Up Voluntarily

.....report of the valuation of the assets of the company prepared by a registered valuer. (3) Where the company is wound up in pursuance of a resolution passed within a period of five weeks after the making of the declaration, but its debts are not paid or provided for in full, it shall be presumed, until the contrary is shown, that the director or directors did not have reasonable grounds for his or their opinion under sub-section (1). (4) Any director of a company making a declaration under this section without having reasonable grounds for the opinion that the company will be able to pay its debts in full from the proceeds of assets sold in voluntary winding up shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than three years but which may extend to five years or with fine which shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees but which may extend to three lakh rupees, or with both.
