Inflammable Substances Act, 1952 Section 3

Title: Declaration of Certain Substances to Be Dangerously Inflammable

The liquids and other substances hereinafter mentioned, namely:- (1) acetone, (2) calcium phosphide, (3) carbide of calcium, (4) cinematograph films having a nitro-cellulose base, (5) ethyl alcohol, (6) methyl alcohol, (7) wood naphtha, are hereby declared to be dangerously inflammable.

(1) There shall be established a University by the name of "Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya". English and Foreign Languages University Act 2006 Section 3

Title: Establishment of the University

(1) There shall be established, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, a University by the name of "The English and Foreign Languages University". (2) The headquarters of the University shall be at Hyderabad, campuses at Lucknow and Shillong; and it may establish campuses at such other places as it may deem fit. (3) The first Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor and the first members of the Court, the Executive Council and the Academic Council, and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, shall constitute the University. (4) The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.

Acquired Territories (Merger) Act, 1960 Section 3

Title: Merger of Acquired Territories

(1) As from the appointed day, the acquired territories referred to in Part I, Part II and Part III of the First Schedule shall, respectively be included in and form part of the State of Assam, Punjab and West Bengal. (2) As from the appointed day, the State Government concerned shall, by order in the Official Gazette, provide for the administration of the acquired territories included in that State by including them or, any part of them in such district, sub-division, police station or other administrative unit as may be specified in the order.

Textiles Committee Act, 1963 Section 3

Title: Establishment of Textiles Committee

Year: 1963

(1) The Central Government shall, by notification1 in the Official Gazette, establish with effect from such date as may, be specified in the notification, a Committee to be known as the Textiles Committee, which shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract and may, by that name, sue or be sued. (2) The Head Office of the Committee shall be in Bombay. (3) The Committee shall consist of-- (a) a Chairman to be appointed by the Central Government; (b) a Vice-Chairman who shall be the Textile Commissioner, ex officio; (c) a Joint Secretary to the Government of India to be appointed by the Central Government, ex officio; (d) such other members as the Central Government may think fit to appoint who, in the opinion of that Government, have special knowledge or practical experience in matters relating to the textile industry and trade and the manufacture of textile machinery. ________________________ 1. Jamia Millia Islamia Act, 1988 Section 3

(1) There shall be established a University by the name of the Jamia Millia Islamia. (2) The headquarters of the University shall be at New Delhi. (3) The persons holding office as Amir-i-Jamia (Chancellor) and Shaikh-ul-Jamia (Vice-Chancellor) and the members of the Anjuman (Court), the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) and the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council) of the University, for the time being, shall be a body corporate by the name of the Jamia Millia Islamia and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by that name.
