Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 Section 25

Title: All Imports of Articles of Food to Be Subject to This Act

(1) No person shall import into India-- (i) any unsafe or misbranded or sub-standard food or food containing extraneous matter; (ii) any article of food for the import of which a licence is required under any Act or rules or regulations, except in accordance with the conditions of the licence; and (iii) any article of food in contravention of any other provision of this Act or of any rule or regulation made thereunder or any other Act. (2) The Central Government shall while prohibiting, restricting or otherwise regulating import of articles of food under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992(22 of 1992), follow the standards laid down by the Food Authority under the provisions of this Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder.

Minimum Wages Act, 1948 Section 25

Any contract or agreement, whether made before or after the commencement of this Act, whereby an employee either relinquishes or reduces his right to a minimum rate of wages or any privilege or concession accruing to his under this Act shall be null and void in so far as it purports to reduce the minimum rate of wages fixed under this Act.

Indian Forest Act, 1927 Section 25

Title: Power to Stop Ways and Water-courses in Reserved Forests

The Forest-officer may, with the previous sanction of the1[ State Government ] or of any officer duly authorised by it in this behalf, stop any public or private way or water-course in a reserved forest, provided that a substitute for the way or water-course so stopped, which the1[ State Government ] deems to be reasonably convenient, already exists, or has been provided or constructed by the Forest-officer in lieu thereof. ___________________ _ 1. .....to such undertakings or share which may be in his possession, custody or control or fails to deliver to the Central Government or Government company, or any person specified by that Government or Government Company, any assets, books of account, registers or other documents in his possession.custody or control, relating to the undertakings of the Company; or any share held by the Company in any specified company; or (c) wrongfully removes or destroys any property forming part of any undertaking of the Company; or prefers any claims under this Act which he knows or has reasonable cause to believe to be false or grossly inaccurate. shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or with both.
