1[In section 41 of the principal Act, the following Explanation shall be inserted, namely:-- 'Explanation.-- For the purposes of this section,-- (a) the words "the Central Government" under section 240 of the Companies Act, 1956(1 of 1956) shall be construed as "the Commission"; (b) the word "Magistrate" under section 240A of the Companies Act, 1956(1 of 1956) shall be construed as "the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Delhi".'] __________________________ 1. (3) No such person as aforesaid1shall be dismissed or reduced in rank until he has been given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against the action proposed to be taken in regard to him : Provided that this sub-section shall not apply-- (a) where a person is dismissed or reduced in rank on the ground of conduct which has led to his conviction on a criminal charge; or (b) where an authority empowered to dismiss a person or reduce him in rank is satisfied that for some reason, to be recorded by that authority in writing, it is not reasonably practicable to give to that person an opportunity of showing cause. (4) Notwithstanding that a person holding a civil post under the Crown in India holds office during His Majesty's pleasure, any contract under which a person, not being a member of a civil service of the Crown in India, is appointed under this Act to hold such a post may, if the Governor-General, or, as the case may be, the Governor, deems it necessary in order to secure the services of a person having special qualifications, provide for the payment to him of compensation, if before the expiration of an agreed period that post is abolished or he is, for reasons.....

Title: Work Connected with the Corporation Sewerage System to Be Done by Licensed Plumber

(1) No person other than a licensed plumber shall execute any work connected with the corporation sewerage system and no person shall permit any such work to be executed except by a licensed plumber: Provided that if, in the opinion of the corporation Engineer, the work is of a trivial nature he may grant permission in writing for the execution of such work by a person other than a licensed plumber. (2) The provisions of section 218 shall be applicable in respect of any work connected with any drain as they are applicable in respect of any work connected with water supply.

Whoever-- (a) fails to comply with an order issued under this Chapter within the period specified therein, or, whilst an order prohibiting him from re-entering a cantonment without permission is in force, re-enters the cantonment without such permission, or (b) knowing that any person has, under this Chapter, been required to remove from the cantonment and has not obtained the requisite permission to re-enter it, harbours or conceals such person in the cantonment, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to1[five hundred rupees], and, in the case of a continuing offence, with an additional fine which may extend to2[fifty rupees] for every day after the first during which he has persisted in the offence. ________________________ 1. (1) A person giving the notice required by section 238 shall specify the purpose for which it is intended to use the building to which such notice relates; and a person giving the notice required by section 239, shall specify whether the purpose for which the building is being used is proposed or likely to be changed by the execution of the proposed work. (2) No notice shall be valid until the information required under subjection (1) and any further information and plans which may be required by bye-laws made in this behalf have been furnished to the satisfaction of the Chairperson alongwith the notice.
