Section 223 - Persons to whom probate cannot be granted Probate cannot be granted to any person who is a minor or is of unsound mind 1 [nor to any association of individuals unless it is a company which satisfies the conditions prescribed by rules to be made 2 [by notification in the Official Gazette,] by the 3 [State Government], in this behalf]. ______________________ 1. Added by Act 17 of 1931, section 2. The words "nor, unless the deceased was a Hindu, Muhammadan, Buddhist, Sikh or jaina or an exempted person, to a married woman without the previous consent of her husband: which originally occurred at the end of this section had been omitted by Act 18 of 1927, section 2. 2. Inserted by Act 20 of 1983, section 2 and Schedule (w.e.f. 15-3-1984). 3. The words "G.G in C" havebeen successively amended by the A.O. 1937 and the A.O. 1950 to read as above.

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 223 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) or in any other law for the time being in force, no juvenile shall be charged with or tried for any offence together with a person who is not a juvenile. (2) If a juvenile is accused of an offence for which under section 223 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) or any other law for the time being in force, such juvenile and any person who is not a juvenile would, but for the prohibition contained in sub-section (1), have been charged and tried together, the Board taking cognizance of that offence shall direct separate trials of the juvenile and the other person.

Title: Actions to be taken in pursuance of inspector's report

(2) If any company or other body corporate is liable to be wound up under this Act and it appears to the Central Government from any such report made under section 223 that it is expedient so to do by reason of any such circumstances as are referred to in section 213, the Central Government may, unless the company or body corporate is already being wound up by the Tribunal, cause to be presented to the Tribunal by any person authorised by the Central Government in this behalf-- (a) a petition for the winding up of the company or body corporate on the ground that it is just and equitable that it should be wound up; (b) an application under section 241; or (c) both. (1) The Board may constitute such Committees whether consisting wholly of directors or wholly of other persons or partly of directors and partly of other persons for such purpose or purposes as it may think fit. Title: Business of Exim Bank

.....as agent of the Central Government, any State Government, the Reserve Bank, the Development Bank or any other person as the Central Government may authorise; (v) collecting, compiling and disseminating market and credit information in respect of international trade; (w) doing any other kind of business which the Central Government may authorise; (x) generally doing such other acts and things as may be incidental to, or consequential upon, the exercise of its powers or the discharge of its duties under this Act or any other law for the time being in force, including sale or transfer of any of its assets. (3) The Exim Bank may receive in consideration of any of the services mentioned in sub-sections (1) and (2) such commission, brokerage, interest, remuneration of fees as may be agreed upon. (4) The Exim Bank shall not grant any loan or advance or other financial accommodation on the security of its own bonds or debentures.

Title: Credits to Export Development Fund

To the Export Development Fund shall be credited- (a) all amounts received for the purposes of that Fund by way of loans, gifts, grants, donations or benefactions from Government or any other source in or outside India; (b) repayments or recoveries in respect of loans, advances or other facilities granted from the Fund; (c) income or profits from investments made from the Fund; and (d) income accruing or arising to the Fund by way of interest or otherwise, on account of the application of the Fund in accordance with the provisions of section 17.
