Title: Penalty for Disobeying Requisition Under Sections 137, 138, 139 and 140

Any owner or occupier of a house or land who fails to comply with a requisition issued by the Nagar Panchayat or the Council under the provisions of section 137, 133, 139 or 140 shall be punishable with fine not exceeding one thousand rupees, and with a further fine not exceeding two hundred rupees for every day during which the default is continued after the expiry of eight days from the date of service on him of such requisition.

Title: Refund when Legacy Has Become Due on Performance of Condition Within Further Time Allowed Under Section 137

When the time prescribed by the Will for the performance of a condition has elapsed, without the condition having been performed, and the executor or administrator has thereupon, without fraud, distributed the assets; in such case, if further time has been allowed under section 137 for the performance of the condition, and the condition has been performed accordingly, the legacy cannot be claimed from the executor or administrator, but those to whom he has paid it are liable to refund the amount.

Title: Arrest for Offences Under Certain Sections

.....servant or the police officer or the officer authorised, as the case may be, may call to his aid any other person to effect the arrest under subsection (1) or sub-section (2), as the case may be. (4) Any person so arrested under this section shall be produced before the nearest Magistrate within a period of twenty-four hours of such arrest excluding the time necessary for the journey from the place of arrest to the court of the Magistrate.] ________________________ 1. In section 150 of the principal Act, after sub-section (2), the following shall be inserted, namely:-- '(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) of section 135, subsection (1) of section 136, section 137 and section 138, the licence or certificate of competency or permit or such other authorisation issued under the rules made or deemed to have been made under this Act to any person who acting as an electrical contractor, supervisor or worker abets the commission of an offence punishable under sub-section (1) of section 135, sub-section (1) of section 136, section 137, or section 138, on his conviction for such abetment, may also be cancelled by the licensing authority: Provided that no order of such cancellation shall be made without giving such person an opportunity of being heard. Explanation.--For the purposes of this sub-section, "licensing authority" means the officer who for the time being in force is issuing or renewing such licence or certificate of competency or permit or such other authorisation.'.
