.....a company in general meeting, a report by its Board of Directors, which shall include-- (a) the extract of the annual return as provided under sub-section (3) of section 92; (b) number of meetings of the Board; (c) Directors' Responsibility Statement; (d) a statement on declaration given by independent directors under sub-section (6) of section 149; (e) in case of a company covered under sub-section (1) of section 178, company's policy on directors' appointment and remuneration including criteria for determining qualifications, positive attributes, independence of a director and other matters provided under sub-section (3) of section 178; (f) explanations or comments by the Board on every qualification, reservation or adverse remark or disclaimer made-- (i) by the auditor in his report; and (ii) by the company secretary in practice in his secretarial audit report; (g) particulars of loans, guarantees or investments under section 186; (h) particulars of contracts or arrangements with related parties referred to in sub-section (1) of section 188 in the prescribed form; (i) the state of the company's affairs; (j) the amounts, if any, which it proposes to.....

Finance Act, 2012, (Central) Section 134

Title: Amendment of Section 12f

In section 12F of the Central Excise Act, for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:-- '(2) The provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973(2 of 1974) relating to search and seizure shall, so far as may be, apply to search and seizure under this section subject to the modification that subsection (5) of section 165 of the said Code shall have effect as if for the word "Magistrate", wherever it occurs, the words "Commissioner of Central Excise" were substituted.'.

Sashastra Seema Bal Act 2007 Section 134

Title: Commencement of Sentence of Imprisonment

State: Central

Year: 2007

Whenever any person is sentenced by a Force Court under this Act to imprisonment, the term of his sentence shall, whether it has been revised or not, be reckoned to commence on the day on which the original proceedings were signed by the presiding officer, or in the case of a Summary Force Court, by the Court: Provided that if for any reason beyond the control of the commanding officer or superior officer, the sentence of imprisonment cannot be executed in full or in part, the convict shall be liable to undergo the whole or unexpired portion of sentence, as the case may be, when it becomes possible to carry out the same: Provided further that the period of detention or confinement, if any, undergone by an accused person during the investigation, inquiry or trial of the case in which he is sentenced and before the date of which the original proceedings were signed shall be set off against the term of his sentence and the liability of such person to undergo imprisonment shall be restricted to the remainder, if any of the term of his sentence.

Assam Rifles Act, 2006 Section 134

Title: Confirming of Findings and Sentences on Board a Ship

State: Central

Year: 2006

When any person subject to this Act is tried and sentenced by an Assam Rifles Court while on board a ship, the finding and sentence so far as not confirmed and executed on board the ship, may be confirmed and executed in like manner as if such person had been tried at the port of disembarkation.

Title: Power of Board to Undertake Private Conservancy Arrangement

State: Central

(1) On the application or with the consent of the occupier of any building or land, or, where the occupier of any building or land fails to make arrangements to the satisfaction of the Chief Executive Officer for the matters referred to in this section, without such consent, and after giving notice in writing to the occupier, the Chief Executive Officer may undertake the house scavenging of any building or land in the cantonment for such period as he thinks fit on such terms as he may specify in this behalf. (2) Where the Chief Executive Officer has undertaken the duties referred to in this section, all matter removed in the performance of such duties shall be the property of the Board.

Title: National Calamity Contingent Duty of Customs

.....of additional duty is calculated under the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act. (4) The provisions of the Customs Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder, including those relating to refunds and exemptions from duties and imposition of penalty, shall, as far as may be, apply in relation to the levy and collection of the National Calamity Duty of Customs leviable under this section in respect of the goods specified in the Seventh Schedule to the Finance Act, 2001(14 of 2001) as amended by the Thirteenth Schedule, as they apply in relation to the levy and collection of the duties of customs on such goods under that Act, or those rules and regulations, as the case may be. 2[Omitted] __________________________________________________ 2. Electricity Act, 2003 Section 134

Title: Payment of Compensation of Damages or Transfer

State: Central

Year: 2003

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) or any other law for the time being in force and except for the provisions made in this Act, the transfer of the employment of the officers and employees referred to in sub-section (1) of section 133 shall not entitle such officers and employees to any compensation or damages under this Act, or any other Central or State law, save as provided in the transfer scheme.

Title: Amendment of Section 5a

.....such dates as may be appointed by the Central Government, by notification in the Official Gazette, be omitted; (ii) after sub-section (2) the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:-- "(2A) The Central Government may, if it considers it necessary or expedient so to do for the purpose of clarifying the scope or applicability of any notification issued under sub-section (1) or order issued under sub-section (2), insert an explanation in such notification or order, as the case may be, by notification in the Official Gazette at any time within one year of issue of the notification under sub-section (1) or order under sub-section (2), and every such explanation shall have effect as if it had always been the part of the first such notification or order, as the case may be."; (iii) in sub-section (J), after the word, brackets and figure "sub-section (1)", the words, brackets, figure and letter "or sub-section (2A)" shall be inserted.

Reference of winding up of companies in other laws.-- Unless the context otherwise requires,-- (a) any reference to the winding up of a company by a Court or High Court or winding up of a company subject to supervision of a Court or High Court in any other law (except the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (10 of 1949)) shall, in so far as it relates to winding up of a company, be construed as winding up of a company by the Tribunal in accordance with the provisions of this Act; (b) any reference to the Company Law Board in any other law, so far as it relates to the Company Law Board, shall be construed as the Tribunal under this Act,
