Title: Inquiry into Jettisoning of Cargo

Title: Mischief by Injury to Works of Irrigation or by Wrongfully Diverting Water

Whoever commits mischief by doing any act which causes, or which he knows to be likely to cause, a diminution of the supply of water for agricultural purposes, or for food or drink for human beings or for animals which are property, or for cleanliness or for carrying on any manufacture, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both.

Title: Civil Court Not to Have Jurisdiction

No civil court shall have jurisdiction to entertain any suit or proceeding in respect of any matter which the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal is empowered to determine by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force and no injunction shall be granted by any court or other authority in respect of any action taken or to be taken in pursuance of any power conferred by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force, by the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal.

Title: Return of Warrant on Execution of Sentence

Title: Contributories in Case of Death of Member

(1) If a contributory dies either before or after he has been placed on !he list of contributories, his legal representatives shall be liable in a due course of administration, to contribute to the assets of the company in discharge of his liability, and shall be contributories accordingly. (2) If the legal representatives make default in paying any money ordered to be paid by them, proceedings may be taken for administering the estate of the deceased contributory and compelling payment thereout of the money due. (3) For the purposes of this section, where the deceased contributory was a member of a Hindu joint family governed by the Mitakshara School of Hindu Law, his legal representatives shall be deemed to include the surviving coparceners.

Title: Exhibition of Rules, Bye-laws and Regulations

(1) Printed copies of bye-laws under sub-clauses (a), (b) and (c) of clause (7) and clause (8) of section 423 shall be affixed at the entrances to or elsewhere in the streets park, or other place affected thereby in such conspicuous manner, as the Commissioner may deem best, calculated to give information to the person using such place. (2) Printed copies of other bye-laws and of the rules and regulations shall be hung up in some conspicuous part of the corporation office. The Commissioner shall also keep affixed in a like manner in places of public resort, markets, slaughter-houses and other places affected, thereby copies of such portions of the rules, bye-laws and regulations as may relate to these places. (3) No corporation officer or servant shall prevent any person from inspecting at any reasonable time copies so exhibited. (4) No person shall, without lawful authority, destroy, pull-down, injure or deface any copies exhibited as above or any board to which the copies have been affixed.
