(1) The Indian Extradition Act, 1903 (15 of 1903), and any law corresponding thereto in force at the commencement of this Act In the territories which immediately before the 1st day of November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States and the North East Frontier Agency and Tuensang District (Extradition) Regulation, 1961 (3 of 1961), are hereby repealed. (2) The Extradition Acts, 1870 to 1932 (33 & 34 Vict. c. 52; 36 & 37 Vict, c. 60; Edw. 7, c. 15; 22 & 23 Geo. 5, c. 39; 44 & 45 Vict., c. 69) and the Fugitive Offenders Act, 1881, in so far as they apply to and operate as part of the law of India, are hereby repealed.

1[* * *] ____________________________________ 1. Section 37 omitted by the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2007 [Act No. 39 of 2007] w.e.f. 12.10.2007. Prior to omission it read as: "37. Review of orders of Commission.-- Any person aggrieved by an order of the Commission from which an appeal is allowed by this Act but no appeal has been preferred, may, within thirty days from the date of the order, apply to the Commission for review of its order and the Commission may make such order thereon as it thinks fit: Provided that the Commission may entertain a review application after the expiry of the said period of thirty days, if it is satisfied that the applicant was prevented by sufficient cause from preferring the application in time: Provided further that no order shall be modified or set aside without giving an opportunity of being heard to the person in whose favour the order is given and the Director General where he was a party to the proceedings."
