Title: Method of Assessment of Tax on Buildings and Lands

101. Method of assessment of Tax on buildings and lands.-- (1) Every building shall be assessed together with its site and other adjacent premises occupied as appurtenances thereto unless the owner of the building is a different person from the owner of the site or premises. (2) The annual rateable value of a building shall be the gross annual rentas defined in clause (1) of section 2, less a deduction of sixteen and two-thirds per cent of such annual rent, and the said deduction shall be in lieu of all allowances for repairs or on any other account whatsoever.

(1) A general meeting of a company may be called by giving not less than clear twenty-one days' notice either in writing or through electronic mode in such manner as may be prescribed: Provided that a general meeting may be called after giving a shorter notice if consent is given in writing or by electronic mode by not less than ninety-five per cent. of the members entitled to vote at such meeting. (2) Every notice of a meeting shall specify the place, date, day and the hour of the meeting and shall contain a statement of the business to be transacted at such meeting. (3) The notice of every meeting of the company shall be given to-- (a) every member of the company, legal representative of any deceased member or the assignee of an insolvent member; (b) the auditor or auditors of the company; and (c) every director of the company. (4) Any accidental omission to give notice to, or the non-receipt of such notice by, any member or other person who is entitled to such notice for any meeting shall not invalidate the proceedings of the meeting.

Karnataka Prohibition Act, 1961 Section 101

Title: Power to Require Production of Licence, Etc

.....or implied permission on his behalf, to produce the licence, permit, pass or authorisation issued under this Act under which he carries on the manufacture, storage or sale of any intoxicant, hemp, mhowra flowers or molasses or taps toddy-producing trees or draws toddy therefrom; (b) enter and inspect at any time by day or by night, any land on which toddy-producing trees licensed for tapping are growing or toddy is drawn from such trees, or any warehouse, shop or premises in which the licensed manufacturer or vendor manufactures, stores or sells any intoxicant, hemp, mhowra flowers or molasses or examines, tests, measures and weighs any stock of any such articles. (2) If such officer finds that the holder of a licence, permit, pass or authorisation issued under this Act or a person in the employ of such holder or acting with his express or implied permission on his behalf, wilfully does or omits to do anything which is an offence under this Act, such officer may seize any intoxicant, hemp, mhowra flowers or molasses or any materials in respect of which the offence is committed and send a report to his official superior for such action under this Act as he deems fit.

Title: Taking Pledge from a Child

Whoever takes from any child not appearing to be above the age of fourteen years any article whatsoever as a pawn, pledge or security for any sum of money lent, advanced or delivered to such child, or without the knowledge and consent of the owner of the article, buys from such child any article whatsoever, shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.

Title: Power of Owner or Occupier of Buildings or Lands to Drain into Grama Panchayat Drains

The owner or occupier of any building or land within a panchayat area shall be entitled to cause his drain to empty into sewer of the Grama Panchayat, provided that he first obtains the written permission of the Grama Panchayat and that he complies with such conditions as the Grama Panchayat prescribes as to the mode in which and the superintendence under which the communications are to be made between drains not vested in the Grama Panchayat and drains which are so vested.
