THE CONSTITUTION (SCHEDULED CASTES AND SCHEDULED TRIBES) ORDERS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2002 [Act, No. 32 of 2002] [3rd June, 2002] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950 and the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 so as to provide for inclusion of certain Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes oustees of the States of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, who have been displaced due to Sardar Sarovar Project on the Narmada River and are settled or may be settled in the State of Gujarat, in the lists of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes specified in relation to the State of Gujarat.
