THE SCHEDULE [Section 14] Qualifications 1. Bachelor Degree in Architecture awarded by Indian Universities established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature. 2. National Diploma (formerly All India Diploma) in Architecture awarded by the All India Council for Technical Education. 3. Degree of Bachelor of Architecture (D. Arch.) awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. 4. Five-Year full time diploma in Architecture of the Sir J. J'. School of Art, Bombay, awarded after 1941. 5. Diploma in Architecture awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the Government of Andhra Pradesh with effect from 1960 (for the students trained at the Government College of Arts and Architecture, Hyderabad). 6. Diploma in Architecture awarded by the Government College of Arts and Architecture Hyderabad till 1959, subject to the condition that the candidates concerned have subsequently passed a special final examination in architecture held by the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh and obtained a special certificate. 7. .....to the Constitution and published under the authority of the President of any Central Act or of any Ordinance promulgated by the President or of any order, rule. regulation or bye-law issued under the Constitution or under any Central Act shall be deemed to be the authorised translation thereof in such language. 2. Section 5(1) of the Official Languages Act. 1963provides for authoritative texts in Hindi of Central Act, etc. At present, there is no provision in the Authorised Translations (Central Laws) Act, 1973 for providing authoritative texts of Central Act, etc., in the languages, other than Hindi, specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. As such, these cannot be quoted in Courts of law. There has also been a general demand for authoritative texts of Central Acts, etc., in the languages, other than Hindi, specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. The proposed amendment is being brought forward lo fulfil this demand. This will enable the authoritative texts of Central Acts, etc., in the languages, other than Hindi, specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution to be quoted in the Courts of law and facilitate the use of these languages in Courts.....
