(2) No order under sub section (1) shall be made unless it is shown by evidence as to a -previous conviction under this Act or as to the character of the owner or otherwise as to the treatment of the animal that the animal if left with the owner, is likely to be exposed to further cruelty. THE TAMIL NADU DEBT RELIEF ACT, 1979 THE TAMIL NADU DEBT RELIEF ACT, 1979 ACT NO. 40 OF 1979 CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title, extent and commencement " (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Debt Relief Act, 1979 (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu (3) This Act except section 32,33 and 34 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of July 1978 and sections 32, 33 and 34 of this Act shall come into force on the date of the publication of this Act in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. 2. Declaration " It is hereby declared that this Act is for giving effect to the policy of the State towards securing the principles specified in Article 46 of the Constitution. 3.
