THE KERALA SLUM AREAS (IMPROVEMENT AND CLEARANCE)ACT, 1981 [1] THE KERALA SLUM AREAS (IMPROVEMENT AND CLEARANCE)ACT, 1981 [1] (Act 24 of 1981) An Act to provide for the prevention, improvement and clearance of slum areas, for the acquisition of slum areas and of land required for the rehabilitation of slum dwellers and for the protection of tenants in slum areas from eviction .
