Section 2 - Substitution of "Uttarakhand" in place of "Uttaranchal" In the Uttaranchal Technical University Act, 2005 (Act No. 5 of 2005) hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, the word "Uttaranchal", wherever it occurs shall be substituted by the word "Uttarakhand". Section 3 - Renumbering of clauses after clause (d) of Section 2 After clause (d) of Section 2 of the principal Act, the clauses (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k), (l), (m) and (n) shall be as renumbered in the Hindi version. Section 4 - Substitution of clause (b) of Section 2 and insertion of clause (o) after clause (m) In place of clause (b) of Section 2 of the principal Act, the following shall be substituted and clause (o) shall be inserted after clause (n), namely" "(b) Approved Institution' means an institution of Technical and Professional Education approved by the University/State Government". THE NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY OF UTTARAKHAND ACT, 2011 THE NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY OF UTTARAKHAND ACT, 2011 [Act No. 11 of 2011] PREAMBLE AN ACT To establish and incorporate a National Law University at Bhowali, Nainital in Uttarakhand and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto IT IS HEREBY enacted by State Legislature in the Sixty-second years of the Republic of India as follows: Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the National Law University of Uttarakhand Act, 2011. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) "Academic Council" means the Academic.
