(3) For the purposes of recovery of any amount recoverable as arrears of land revenue under this Act, the provisions of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 Delhi Act 8 of 1954), as to the recovery of arrears of land revenue shall, notwithstanding anything contained in that Act or in any other enactment, be deemed to be in force throughout Delhi and the provisions of the Revenue Recover Act, 1890 (1 of 1890) shall have effect accordingly. (4) For the purposes of recovery of any amount recoverable as arrear of land revenue under this Act- (a) the Deputy Entertainment Tax and Betting Tax Commissioner shall have and exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of the Deputy Commissioner under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954); (b) the Entertainment Tax Officer and Additional Entertainment Tax Officer shall have and exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of the Revenue Assistant under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954); (c) the Assistant Entertainment Tax Officer shall have and exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of Tehsildar under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954); 9. .....SECTION 09: IMPOSITION OF CESS ON SCHEDULED INDUSTRIES IN CERTAIN CASES (1) There may be levied and collected as a cess for the purposes of this Act on all goods manufactured or produced in any such scheduled industry as may be specified in this behalf by the Central Government by notified order a duty of excise at such rate as may be specified in the notified order, and different rates may be specified for different goods or different classes of goods: Provided that no such rate shall in any case exceed 13 paise per cent of the value of the goods. (2) The cess shall be payable at such intervals, within such time and in such manner as may be prescribed, and any rules made in this behalf may provide for the grant of a rebate for prompt payment of the cess. (3) The said cess may be recovered in the same manner as an arrear of land revenue. (4) The Central Government may hand over the proceeds of the cess collected under this section in respect of the goods manufactured or produced by any scheduled industry or group of scheduled industries to the Development Council established for that industry or group of industries, and where it does so, the Development Council shall utilise.....

Title: Power to Make Rules for the Conduct of Telegraphs

.....with this Act for the conduct of all or any telegraphs, established, maintained or worked by the Government or by persons licensed under this Act. (2) Rules under this section may provide for all or any of the following among other matters, that is to say:-- (a) the rates at which, and the other conditions and restrictions subject to which, messages shall be transmitted 1 [within India]; (b) the precautions to be taken for preventing the improper interception or disclosure of messages; (c) the period for which, and the conditions subject to which, telegrams and other documents belonging to, or being in the custody of, telegraph officers shall be preserved; (d) the fees to be charged for searching for telegrams or other documents in the custody of any telegraph officer; 2 [(e) the conditions and restrictions subject to which any telegraph line, appliance or apparatus for telegraphic communication shall be established, maintained, worked, repaired, transferred, shifted, withdrawn or disconnected;] 3 [(ee) the charges in respect of any application for providing any telegraph line, appliance or apparatus;] 4 [(eea) the manner in which the fund may be.....

.....dealing with any property in the manner referred to in sub-section (1) with the bona fide intention, of averting imminent danger of personal injury to himself or any other human being shall be deemed to have complied with the provisions of the said sub-section if he gives such notice of the intended exercise of the right as is in the circumstances possible, or where no such previous notice can be given without incurring the imminent danger referred to above, if he forthwith gives notice of the actual exercise of such right to the authority or officer specified in the said sub-section. _____________________ 1.
