For section 5 of the principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, namely:-- "5. Resignation and removal of Chairperson and Members.--(1) The Chairperson or any Member may, by notice in writing under his hand addressed to the President of India, resign his office. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (3), the Chairperson or any Member shall only be removed from his office by order of the President of India on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity after the Supreme Court, on reference being made to it by the President, has, on inquiry held in accordance with the procedure prescribed in that behalf by the Supreme Court, reported that the Chairperson or the Member, as the case may be, ought on any such ground to be removed. (3) Notwithstanding anything in sub-section (2), the President may, by order, remove from office the Chairperson or any Member if the Chairperson or such Member, as the case may be,-- (a) is adjudged an insolvent; or (b) engages during his term of office in any paid employment outside the duties of his office; or. THE APPROPRIATION (No. 5) ACT, 2006 [Act No. 55 OF 2006] [24th December, 2006.] Preamble An Act to provide for the authorisation of appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of India to meet the amounts spent on certain services during the financial year ended on the 31st day of March, 2005, in excess of the amounts granted for those services and for that year. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:--

..... (3) The taxes specified in sub-sections (1) and (2) shall be imposed, assessed and collected in accordance with the provisions of this Act, rules and the bye-laws made thereunder. (4) Any tax imposed under this section shall take effect from the date of its notification in the Official Gazette or where any later date is specified in this behalf in the notification, from such later date. Section 67 - Charging of fees The Board shall, for the purposes of this Act, charge the following fees, namely:-- (a) licence fee on vehicles and animals; (b) licence fee on advertisements other than advertisements in newspapers; (c) fee relating to maintenance of property records; (d) processing fee on buildings payable along with application for sanction of the building plan; (e) licence fee on entry of vehicles; (f) betterment fee on the increase in land value caused by the execution of any development work; and (g) such other fee which the Board may by regulation specify: Provided that the fee charged under clause (g) of this section shall not be less than the cost incurred by the Board for or in connection with the specific service to which the fee relates......
