THE NAGALAND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKETING (REGULATION) ACT, 1985. THE NAGALAND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKETING (REGULATION) ACT, 1985. (THE NAGALAND ACT NO 1 OF 1989) Received the assent of the President of India on 16/03/89 and published in the Nagaland Gazette extraordinary dated 18th March '89. An Act to provide for the better regulation of marketing of agricultural produce and establishment and proper administration of markets for agricultural produce and matters connected therewith in the State of Nagaland. Whereas sanction of the President of India under the proviso to clause (b) of Article 304 of the Constitution of India has been obtained. It is hereby enacted by the Legislature of the State of Nagaland in the thirty seventh year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER-I PRELIMINARY 1. Short Title, Extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1985. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland.
