Substituted for "such order of rejection or cancellation" by The Enforcement of Security Interest and Recovery of Debts Laws (Amendment) Act, 2004 Section 5 - Acquisition of rights or interest in financial assets (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any agreement or any other law for the time being in force, any securitisation company or reconstruction company may acquire financial assets of any bank or financial institution-- (a) by issuing a debenture or bond or any other security in the nature of debenture, for consideration agreed upon between such company and the bank or financial institution, incorporating therein such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between them; or (b) . by entering into an agreement with such bank or financial institution for the transfer of such financial assets to such company on such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between them. (2) If the bank or financial institution is a lender in relation to any financial assets acquired under sub-section (1) by the securitisation company or the reconstruction company, such securitisation company or reconstruction company shall, on such acquisition, be deemed to be.....

THE PUNJAB ADVOCATES WELFARE FUND ACT, 2002 THE PUNJAB ADVOCATES WELFARE FUND ACT, 2002 [ Act No. 4 of 2002] [ 15th January, 2002] PREAMBLE An Act to provide for the constitution of a Fund and utilisation thereof for promotion of welfare of the Advocates belonging to the State of Punjab and for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Advocates Welfare Fund Act, 2002. (2) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, - (a) "Advocate" means a person whose name has been entered in the roll of Advocates prepared and maintained by the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana under section 17 of the Advocates Act, 1961 and who is practicing as an Advocate and is a member of Bar Association; (b) "Bar Association" means an association of Advocates, recognised by the Bar Council under section 14; (c) "Bar Council" means the Bar Council for the States of Punjab Haryana and Union.....

.....(b) or (c) of sub-section (3), the electors fail to elect the requisite number of members, the State Government shall nominate such registered practitioner or practitioners as it deems fit, to fill up the vacancy or vacancies; and the practitioners so nominated shall be deemed to have been duly elected under this section. THE CHHATTISGARH MADHYAMIK SHIKSHA (AMENDMENT) ADHINIYAM, 2002 THE CHHATTISGARH MADHYAMIK SHIKSHA (AMENDMENT) ADHINIYAM, 2002 [Act No. 34 of 2002] PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Adhiniyam, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965). Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-third year of the Republic of India :-- Section 1 - Short title and Commencement (1) This ordinance may be called Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha (Amendment) Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 34 of 2002). (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette of Chhattisgarh. Section 2 - Insertion after sub-section (b) of Section 8 After sub-section (b) of Section 8 of the Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Adhiniyam, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965) the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely :-- "(bb) To conduct such entrance examinations for professional courses which may be entrusted by the State Government." .....and proof, of the misbehaviour or incapacity of the Pramukh Lokayukt and Lokayukt under sub-section (1) shall be as provided in the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968 (Act No. 51 of 1968), in relation to the removal of a Judge and accordingly, the provisions of this Adhiniyam shall, subject to necessary modifications apply in relation to the removal of Pramukh Lokayukt and Lokayukt as they apply in relation to the removal of a Judge. Section 6 - Matters that may be enquired into by Lok Aayog Subject to the provisions of this Adhiniyam, upon receiving specific information of misconduct or a complaint against the Chief Minister, a Minister or any other public servant, the Lok Aayog may proceed to inquire into the matter contained therein. Section 7 - Matters not subject to inquiry (1) Except hereinafter provided, Lok Aayog shall not conduct any inquiry under this Adhiniyam in the case of complaint in respect of any action if such action relates to any matter specified in the Third Schedule. (2) Lok Aayog shall not inquire into any action,- (a) in respect of which a formal and public inquiry has been ordered under the Public Servants (Inquiries) Act, 1950 (Act No. 37 of 1950);.....

CHAPTER 2 REGULATION OF SECURITISATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF FINANCIAL ASSETS OF BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS SECTION 03: REGISTRATION OF SECURITISATION COMPANIES OR RECONSTRUCTION COMPANIES (1) No securitisation company or reconstruction company shall commence or carry on the business of securitisation or asset reconstruction without- (a) obtaining a certificate of registration granted under this section; and (b) having the owned fund of not less than two crore rupees or such other amount not exceeding fifteen per cent of total financial assets acquired or to be acquired by the securitisation company or reconstruction company, as the Reserve Bank may, by notification, specify: Provided that the Reserve Bank may, by notification, specify different amounts of owned fund.....

Regulation 3 Point of Sale (1) Notwithstanding anything mentioned in Regulation 2(e) above, a prospectus of any insurance product shall clearly state the scope of benefits, the extent of insurance cover and in an explicit manner explain the warranties, exceptions and conditions of the insurance cover and, in case of life insurance, whether the product is participating (with profits) or non-participating (without profits). The allowable rider or riders on the product shall be clearly spelt out with regard to their scope of benefits, and in no case, the premium relatable to all the riders put together shall exceed 30% of the premium of the main product. Explanation. The rider or riders attached to a life policy shall bear the nature and character of the main policy, viz. participating or non-participating and accordingly the life insurer shall make provisions, etc. in its books. (2) An insurer or its agent or other intermediary shall provide all material information in respect of a proposed cover to the prospect.....
