.....Warehousing Corporation" means the Central Warehousing Corporation, established or deemed to be established under the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1962 (Act No. 58, 1962); (ix) "Chief Executive Officer" means a person, appointed as such under sub-section (2) of section 36 of the Act, by Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee. [05th May, 2011] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-second Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2011. (2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. .....Bank and with the previous approval of the Central Government, by notification in the official Gazette, make regulations not inconsistent with this Act and the rules made thereunder, to provide for all matters for which provision is necessary or expedient for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of this Act or any other law for the time being in force. For Sections 28 & 29 of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919 (Tamil Nadu Act 4 of 1919) (hereinafter in this Part referred to as the 1919 Act), the following Sections shall be substituted, namely: "28. Election of Mayor." (1) (a) The Mayor shall be elected by the persons whose names appear in the voters list for the divisions from among themselves in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed; (b) If at an ordinary or casual election, no Mayor is elected, a fresh election shall be held: Provided that a person who stands for election as Mayor shall not be eligible to stand for election as a councilor: Provided further that a person who stands for election as a councillor shall not be eligible to stand for election as a Mayor: Provided also that no councillor shall be eligible to stand for election as a Mayor.
