THE KERALA WOMEN'S COMMISSION ACT, 1990 THE KERALA WOMEN'S COMMISSION ACT, 1990 1 (ACT 17 OF 1995) An Act to provide for the Constitution of a Women's Commission to improve the status of women in the State of Kerala and to enquire into unfair practices affecting women and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Preamble .-WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the Constitution of a Commission to improve the status of women in the State of Kerala and to enquire into unfair practices affecting women and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; BE it enacted in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1.
