Assam Alienation of Land (Regulation) Act, 1980 Section 7

Title: Delivery of Possession of Land to State Government and Penalty

(1) On the issue by the Collector of an order under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 6, directing the delivery of possession of any land or part of land to the State Government any person in whose possession or control such land or part of land may be, shall forthwith deliver possession thereof to the State Government. (2) If any person refuses or fails to comply with the provisions of sub-section (1), the Collector shall (a) if he is a Magistrate, enforce the delivery to the State Government of the possession of the land or part of the land in respect of which such refusal has been made or failure has been committed, or (b) if he is not a Magistrate, apply to a Magistrate and such Magistrate shall enforce the delivery to the State Government of the possession of such land or part of land. (3) Whoever refuses or unlawfully obstructs the delivery to the State Government of the possession of any land or part of land, delivery of possession whereof to the State Government has been directed by the Collector by an order under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 6, shall on conviction by a Magistrate, be punishable, without prejudice to any other penalty to which.....

Title: Duty to Deliver Possession of the Undertakings of the Company and Documents Relating Thereto

.....of the undertakings of the Company or any part thereof to the Central Government, or where the undertakings of the Company are vested under section 6 in a Government company, to that Company. (2) On the vesting of the management of the undertakings of the Company in a Government company or on the appointment of the Custodian or Custodians, the Official Liquidator of the Company or any other person who has, on the appointed day, in his posession or custody or under his control any hooks, documents or other papers relating to the undertakings of the Company immediately before such vesling or appointment, shall be bound to deliver the said books, documents or other papers to the Government company or the Custodian or Custodians or to such person as the Central Government or the Government company, as the case may be, may specify in this behalf. Title: Disbursement of Amounts to the Company and Possession of Certain Machinery, Equipment, Etc.

(1) If, out of the monies paid to him in relation to the undertakings of the Company, there is a balance left after meeting the liabilities in accordance with the priorities specified in the Schedule, the Commissioner shall disburse such balance to the company. (2) Where any machinery, equipment or other property has vested under this Act in the Central Government or the Government company, as the case may be, but such machinery, equipment or other property does not belong to the Company, it shall be lawful for the Central Government or the Government company, as the case may be, to continue to possess such machinery or equipment and other property on the same terms and conditions under which they were possessed by the Company immediately before the appointed day.

(1) Every person having, on the appointed day, in his possession, custody or control any property forming part of, or relatable to, Auroville, shall deliver forthwith such property to the Administrator or to any officer or other employee of the Central government as may be authorised by the Central Government in this behalf. Title: Duty of Persons to Account for Assets, Etc., in their Possession

.....or the Jute Manufactures Corporation under this Act, shall be liable to account for the said assets, books, documents and other papers to the Central Government or the existing, or the Jute Manufactures Corporation and shall deliver them to the Central Government or the existing, or the Jute Manufactures Corporation or to such person or persons as the Central Government or the Jute Manufactures Corporation. Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 Complete Act

(7) "building of the warehouse class" means a building, the whole or a substantial part of which is used, or intended to be used, as a warehouse, factory, manufactory, brewery, or distillery, or for any similar purpose, which is neither a "domestic building" nor a "public building" as defined in this section, and includes a hut used or intended to be used for any of the purposes mentioned in this clause; (8) "bustee" means an area containing land not less than seven hundred square metres in area occupied by or for the purposes of any collection of huts or other structures used or intended to be used for human habitation.
