Title: Duty to Deliver Possession of Mokameh Unit and Under-takings of Arthur Butler and Company

.....person, who has on the appointed day in his possession or under his control any assets, books documents or other appears requiting to the Mokameh unit or any undertaking owned by Arthur Butler and ?company which has crested in the Central Government or a Government Company under this act, and which belong to Britannia engineering company or as the case may be Arthur Butler and Company or would have to belonged if the Mokameh unit or as the case may be the under Central Government or the Government Company shall be liable to account for the said assets, books documents and other papers to the Central Government or the Government Company and shall deliver them up to the Central Government or the Government Company or to such person or body or persons as the Central Government or the Government Company may specify in this behalf. (3) the Central Government may take or cause to be taken all necessary steps for securing possession of the Mokameh unit and the undertakings of Arthur Butler and Company which have vested in it under section 3.

Title: Duty to Deliver Possession of Properties, Etc.

(1) Where any property appertaining to any of the undertakings of the dissolved company has been transferred to, and vested in, the Steel Authority of India,- (a) every person in whose possession, custody or control any such property may be, shall on demand by the Steel Authority of India, forthwith deliver the property to the Steel Authority of India or to such person as the Steel Authority of India may authorities in this behalf; (b) any person who, immediately before such vesting, has in his possession, custody or control, any books, documents or other papers relating to any of the undertakings of the dissolved company shall be liable o account for the said books documents, and appears to he Steel authority of India and shall deliver them to the steel authority of India or to such person as the steel authority of India may authorise in this behalf. (2) Without prejudice to the other provisions contained in this section, it shall be lawful for the steel Authority of India to take all necessary steps for taking possession of all properties, which have been transferred to, and vested in, it under this Act. Title: Duty to Deliver Possession of Property Acquired and Documents Relating Thereto

.....Company in the State Government under section 6, every person in whose possession or custody or under whose control any property referred to in sub-section (1) of section 4 may be, shall deliver the property to the State Government forthwith. (2) Any person, Who on the appointed day has in his possession or under his control any books, documents or other papers relating to the undertakings of the Company which has vested in the State Government under section 6 and which belong to the Company, or, would have so belonged if the undertakings of the Company had not vested in the State Government, shall be liable to account for the said books, documents or other papers to the State Government and shall deliver them up to the State Government. Title: Power to Take Possession of Acquired Land, Etc.

.....determined by the competent authority under section 13 with respect to such land, building, street, road or passage has been deposited under sub-section (1) of section 14, with the competent authority by the Central Government] the competent authority may by notice in writing direct the owner use as any other person who may be in possession of such land, building, street, road or passage to surrender or deliver possession thereof to the competent authority or any person duly authorised by it in this behalf within sixty days of the service of the notice. .....Corporation being the Authorised Controller. The period of the management will expire on the 11th March, 1979. The Company is engaged in the manufacture of agricultural tractors. After the take over of the management of the undertakings of the Company, The production in the Company, which had come to a standstill in November, 1972, has progressively improved. The net losses have come down from the level of Rs. 80 lakhs for the year ending March, 1973 to Rs.9 lakhs for the year ending March, 1977 and during 1977-78 they expect to achieve a nominal net profit of Rs.1 lakh. After careful consideration of the whole matter and with a view to improving the technical and economic viability of the undertakings, the Central Government have decided to acquire the undertakings of the Company and vest them in the State Government of Gujarat. 2. METRO RAILWAYS (CONSTRUCTION OF WORKS) ACT, 1978 METRO RAILWAYS (CONSTRUCTION OF WORKS) ACT, 1978 33 of 1978 21st August, 1978 An Act to provide for the construction of works relating to metro railways in the metropolitan cities and for matters connected therewith. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, COMMENCEMENT AND APPLICATION (1) This Act may be called the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978.
