.....of any interest during the pendency of a suit or where a plaintiff is made a defendant or a defendant is made a plaintiff. Section 22 - Continuing breaches and torts In the case of a continuing breach of contract or in the case of a continuing tort, a fresh period of limitation begins to run at every moment of the time during which the breach or the tort, as the case may be, continues. Section 23 - Suits for compensation for acts not actionable without special damage In the case of a suit for compensation for an act which does not give rise to a cause of action unless some specific injury actually results therefrom, the period of limitation shall be computed from the time when the injury results. Section 24 - Computation of time mentioned in instruments All instruments shall for the purposes of this Act be deemed to be made with reference to the Gregorian calendar.

An Act to require employers of pay unemployment allowance to certain workmen who, due to short working of factories on account of shortage of power, cannot be given employment therein on certain days during a certain temporary period and to provide for matters connected therewith. WHEREAS both Houses of the Legislature of the State were not in session; AND WHEREAS the Governor of Maharashtra was satisfied that circumstances existed which rendered it necessary for him to take immediate action to require employers to pay unemployment allowance to certain workmen who, due to short working of factories on account of shortage of power, could not be given employment therein on certain days during 'a' a temporary period notified either in relation to the whole State or any part thereof and to provide for matters connected therewith, and for that purpose promulgated the Maharashtra Unemployment Allowance Payment to.....

Section 131 - Chapter not to apply to certain railway servants Nothing in this Chapter shall apply to any railway servant to whom the Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948) or the Mines Act, 1952 (35 of 1952) or the Railway Protection Force Act, 1957 (23 of 1957) or the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958), applies. Section 132 - Limitation of hours of work (1) A railway servant whose employment is essentially intermittent shall not be employed for more than seventy-five hours in any week. (2) A railway servant whose employment is continuous shall not be employed for more than fifty-four hours a week on an average in a two weekly period of fourteen days. (3) A railway servant whose employment is intensive shall not be employed for more than forty-five hours a week on an average in a two weekly period of fourteen days. Title: Notice of Periods of Work for Adults

Title: Extension of Period of Detention

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other provision of this Act, the detention of every person detained under a detention order which has been confirmed under clause (f) of section 8 read with sub-section (2) of section 9 before the commencement of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities (Amendment) Act, 1976, and which is in force immediately before such commencement, shall, unless his detention has been continued by the appropriate Government under the said clause (f) read with the said sub-section (2), for a period shorter than two years from the date of his detention, continue until the expiry of a period of two years from the date of his detention under such order or until the expiry of the specified period, whichever period expires later: Provided that nothing contained in this sub-section shall affect the power of the appropriate Government to revoke or modify such detention order at any earlier time.] ________________________ 1.
