THE CONSTITUTION (SCHEDULED TRIBES) ORDER (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011 [Act No. 2 of 2012] [8th January, 2012] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 to modify the list of Scheduled Tribes in the States of Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. This Act may be called the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Act, 2011.

WHEREAS, it is expedient to create a fund for the purpose of the benefit of the State towards welfare of the schedule tribes, schedule castes and weaker section of the State and as such to provide for the levy of tax on professions, trades, callings and employments; BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Jharkhand, in the Sixty Two year of the Republic of India as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 2011.
