.....MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 1920 3. Insertion of new Section 215-AA." After section 215-A of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act Section V of 1920) the following section shall be inserted, namely: "215-AA. Permission to construct swimming pool." (1) No swimming pool shall be constructed in any place, after the appointed day, without obtaining a permission from the executive authority. (2) Every application for permission to construct a swimming pool shall be made to the executive authority and shall be accompanied by such fee not exceeding rupees five thousand, as may be prescribed, and shall contain such particulars as may be prescribed. (3) On receipt of an application under sub-section (2), the executive authority may, after making such enquiry as he deems necessary, either grant or refuse to grant the permission. Every permission granted shall be in such form and subject to such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed. (4) Where the executive authority refuses to grant permission under sub-section (3), he shall give reasons in writing for such refusal. (5) No owner or occupier of a building or land in which a swimming pool is located immediately.....

THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 [Act No. 02 of 2012] PREAMBLE An Act to make provision for, and to regulate audit of all Government machineries, Public Corporation, Governmental Companies, Institutions, Statutory Authorities, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Municipalities, Urban Local Bodies, Governmental Committees in the State of Uttarakhand. Be it enacted by the Legislature of State of Uttarakhand in the Sixty-Third Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Audit Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttarakhand. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf. THE SCHEDULE (See section 17) Sl. No. Short Title Amendment 1. The Indian Contracts Act, 1872(9 of 1872). Saving of a guarantee agreement of a bank or a financial institution. In section 28, after Exception 2, the following Exception shall be inserted, namely;-- Exception 3.--This section shall not render illegal a contract in writing by which any bank or financial institution stipulate a term in a guarantee or any agreement making a provision for guarantee for extinguishment of the rights or discharge of any party thereto from any liability under or in respect of such guarantee or agreement on the expiry of a specified period which is not less than one year from the date of occurring or non-occurring of a specified event for extinguishment or discharge of such party from the said liability.
