THE COLONIAL PRISONERS REMOVAL (REPEAL) ACT, 2001 [Act, No. 12 of 2001] [9th May, 2001] PREAMBLE An Act to repeal the Colonial Prisoners Removal Act, 1884. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows: -- 1. Short title This Act may be called the Colonial Prisoners Removal (Repeal) Act, 2001. 2. Repeal of Act 47 and 48 Vict., C. 31 The Colonial Prisoners Removal Act, 1884 is hereby repealed.

.....of this Act and to revoke and vary any Order so made, and every Order so made shall, while it is in force, have the same effect as if it were enacted in this Act. (2) An Order in Council made fore the purposes of this Act shall be laid before Parliament as soon as may be after it is made if Parliament is then in session, or, if not, as soon as may be after the commencement of the then next session of Parliament. SECTION 14: APPLICATION OF ACT TO CHANNES ISLANDS OF MAN -This Act shall extent to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man as if they were part of England and the United Kingdom. THE CASTE DISABILITIES REMOVAL ACT, 1850 [Act, No. 21 of 1850] [AS ON 1959] [11th April, 1850] PREAMBLE An Act for extending the principle of section 9, Regulation VII, 1832 of the Bengal Code throughout [Substitute by Act 3 of 1951, Section 3.and Schedule, for '' the territories subject to the Government of the East India Company'.] [ India ].
