Section 32A - Nomination in respect of deposits, bonds, etc. 1[ 32A. Nomination in respect of deposits, bonds, etc (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, where a nomination in respect of any deposits, bonds or other securities is made in the prescribed manner, the amount due on such deposits bonds or securities shall, on the death of the depositor or holder thereof, vest in, and be payable to, the nominee subject to any right, title or interest of any other person to such deposits, bonds or securities. (2) Any payment by the Development Bank in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) shall constitute a full discharge to the Development Bank of its liability in respect of such deposits, bonds or securities. ] __________________ 1. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Industrial Development Bank of India Act, 1964.- (2) It extends2to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification3in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act. .....Government in this behalf against stocks of food grains or other foodstuffs held by it for the purpose of carrying out its functions under the Act. The provisions of the Act do not permit a Food Corporation borrow funds from other sources or to issue and sell bonds or debentures. 2. The Food Corporations do not generate any internal resources. They require funds both for working capital requirements as well as for investment purposes. At present, the funds are being provided by only the Government and the banking section. It is proposed to diversify the sources of financing. 3. It is, therefore proposed to amend section 27of the Food Corporations. Act, 1964 (37 of 1964) to enable a Food Corporation to raise funds, as and when required, for its operational as well as investment requirements by the issue of bonds and debentures and also by borrowings from the Central and State Government institutions or public sector enterprises or bodies or from public or corporate sector, on such terms, and conditions as may be approved by the Central Government. 4.
