.....which The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission established under sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1998), is empowered to discharge. (2) The Authority shall always act consistent with the objectives and purposes for which it has been established. (3) Orders passed by the Authority in exercise of its powers under this Act, shall be final and binding on all concerned and shall be executable as a decree. Section 15 - Authority to have powers of a Civil Court (1) The Authority, in conduct of all proceedings before it and in exercise of its powers under this Act, will be guided by the principles of natural justice. .....Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT -(1) This Act may be called the Finance Act, 2002. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, Sections 2-to116-shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2002. SECTION 02: INCOME TAX (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 2002, income tax shall be charged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and such tax as reduced by the rebate of income tax calculated under Chapter VIII-A of the Income Tax Act, 1961(43 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the Income Tax Act) shall be increased by a surcharge for purposes of the Union calculated in each case in the manner provided therein. (2) In the cases to which Paragraph A of Part I of the First Schedule applies, where the assessee has, in the previous year, any net agricultural income exceeding five thousand rupees, in addition to total income, and the total income exceeds fifty thousand rupees, then,- (a) the net agricultural income shall be taken into account, in the manner provided.....

MULTI-STATE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 2002 MULTI-STATE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 2002 39 of 2002 3rd July, 2002 An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to co-operative societies, with objects not confined to one State and serving the interests of members in more than one State, to facilitate the voluntary formation and democratic functioning of co-operatives as people's institutions based on self-help and mutual aid and to enable them to promote their economic and social betterment and to provide functional autonomy and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. (2) It extends to the whole of India.
