WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the taxation of motor vehicles in the State of Bombay, and to provide for certain other matters; It is hereby enacted in the Ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Bombay Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958.
