Section 15 - Duties of guardian Every person appointed as a guardian of a person with disability under this Chapter shall, wherever required, either have the care of such person of disability and his property or be responsible for the maintenance of the person with disability. Section 16 - Guardian to furnish inventory and annual accounts (1) Every person appointed as a guardian under section 14 shall, within a period of six months from the date of his appointment, deliver to the authority which appointed him, an inventory of immovable property belonging to the person with disability and all assets and other movable property received on behalf of the person with disability, together with a statement of all claims due to and all debts and liabilities due by such person with disability. (2) Every guardian shall also furnish to the said appointing authority within a period of three months at the close of every financial year, an account of the property.....

.....manner as may be specified in the bye--laws of the Water Users Apex Level Federation. (2) Vice--Chair person shall be elected from amongst the member of the Water Users Apex Level Federation. (3) The Water Users Apex Level Federation shall make recommendation to the State Government on the policies to be adopted and the guidelines to be formulated regarding construction, maintenance and regulation of irrigation work and supply of water therefrom. (4) The Water Users Apex Level Federation may give directions to the Water Users Project Level Federation, Water Users Distributary Level Federation and the Water Users Society to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Railways Act, 1989 Section 161

Title: Negligently Crossing Unmanned Level Crossing

Year: 1989

If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year. Explanation.--For the purposes of this section, "negligence" in relation to any person driving or leading a vehicle in crossing an unmanned level crossing means the crossing of such level crossing by such person-- (a) without stopping or caring to stop the vehicle near such level crossing to observe whether any approaching rolling stock is in sight, or (b) even while an approaching rolling stock is in sight.

Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 Section 9

Title: District Level Single Window Clearance Committee

State: Karnataka

Year: 2002

(1) The State Government, may, by notification constitute a single point clearance committee at the district level called the District Level Single Window Clearance Committee consisting of such members, as may be prescribed. The District Level Single Window Clearance Committee shall examine and consider proposal received from entrepreneurs relating to industrial projects with the investment of upto rupees three crores each to be set up in the respective districts. (2) A member of the Committee shall attend the meetings personally and in case he is unable to attend the meeting he may depute a senior level officer with the written authorisation to take appropriate decision in the meeting.

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 Section 131

Title: Duty of the Driver to Take Certain Precautions at Unguarded Railway Level Crossings

Year: 1988

Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed.

Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 Section 6

Title: State Level Single Window Clearance Committee

(1) The State Government may by notification constitute a single window clearance committee for the State called as the 'State Level Single Window Clearance Committee' consisting of such members as may be specified therein. (2) The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee shall examine and consider proposal received from the entrepreneurs relating to industrial and other projects to be set up in the State with an investment of more than three crores rupees and less than rupees fifty crores each. (3) A member of the Committee shall personally attend the meetings and in case he is unable to attend the meeting he may depute a senior level officer with a written authorisation to take appropriate decision in the meeting.

Karnataka Electricity Reform Act, 1999 Section 37

Title: Information with Respect to Level of Performance

State: Karnataka

(1) The Commission shall from time to time collect information with respect to,- (a) the fines or penalties levied on licensees under this Act; (b) the levels of overall performance achieved by such licensees in connection with the transmission and provision of electricity supply services; and (c) the levels of performance achieved by such licensees in connection with the promotion of the efficient use of electricity by consumers. (2) On or before such date in each year as may be specified in a direction given by the Commission, each licensee shall furnish to the Commission the following information:- (a) with respect to each standard determined, the number of cases in which a penalty was levied and the aggregate amount of value of those penalties; and (b) with respect to each standard determined, such information with respect to the level of performance achieved by the licensee as may be so specified. (3) The Commission shall at least once in every year, arrange for the publication, in such form and in such manner as it considers appropriate, of such of the information collected by or furnished to it under this section as may appear to the Commission to be so.....

Karnataka Irrigation Act, 1965 Section 62B

Title: Functions of Water Users Distributary Level Federation

The Water Users Distributary Level Federation shall perform the following functions, namely:-- (1) to prepare an operational plan based on its entitlement, area, soil and cropping pattern at the beginning of each irrigation season consistent with the operational plan prepared by the project level federation; (2) to identify the critical maintenance work that are to be carried out and prioritise these works; (3) to monitor the maintenance work being executed and ensure that they conform to prescribed standards; (4) to monitor and regulate the use of water among various societies in its area of operation; (5) to abide by the decisions of the Water Users Project Level Federation; (6) to undertake periodical social audit; (7) to promote economy in the use of water; (8) to encourage avenue plantation in its area of operation; (9) to prepare water budgets and crop plans.

Title: Opening or Breaking a Level Crossing Gate

(1) If any person, other than a railway servant or a person authorised in this behalf, opens any gate or chain or barrier set up on either side of a level crossing which is closed to road traffic, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years. (2) If any person breaks any gate or chain or barrier set up on either side of a level crossing which is closed to road traffic, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years.

Title: Obstructing Level Crossing

If any railway servant unnecessarily-- (a) allows any rolling stock to stand across a place where the railway crosses a public road on the level; or (b) keeps a level crossing closed against the public, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.
